just venting about grps that invite u and when u get there not even 5mins later people have to go and pt disbands, happened to me countless times after waiting 2-3 hrs for a pt and it just blows lol, mostly happens at lower lvls, but ive also had it happen higher lvls too ><

this has happened to people invite to replace me twice.. the group is going along fine when i go too i give my 30min warning and then replace comes and i go... 5min later i get a tell from the person that replaced me.

"thanks for the shit pt asshole" ect.. yea well its not my fault the party was a bunch of fags... its not like i said OH GEUSS WHAT the pt is gettin tired and looks like everyone wants to leave now! Ill get a replace and make him suffer :twisted:.. lol but anyways.. bad luck i geuss

Well easiest way is to just stop replacing people. Albeit as you wait 2-3 hours for a party, I am guessing you arent a highly desired job (might want to post some stuff in your sig to let us know who you are), you may not have this luxury.

Secondly, when you ARE that person, you dont know whom to be pissed at. Sometimes the person just gets a replacement hoping to sneak out when they show up, not knowing how long the party has, and other times, the party leader replaces someone, not knowing half the party is going to disband.

Make sure you ASK if the party is going to be going for a while, and hope to GOD that someone doesnt die in the first 15 minutes, because I have found people who were once willing, suddenly lose the urge to keep going after a death.

Theres been two or three topics about this in the last few days. (my own being one of them) Its sad that it is growing more and more common. I've been in parties that invite people out to Valley of Sorrows, KNOWING i have 10 minutes left. And KNOWING they are going to disband when I leave. That makes me feel shitty so I end up staying much longer then intended, delaying my plans and schedule because others are selfish. God I hate people -_- Just don't replace anyone

I was in a JP party one time, the leader, with very broken english told me that we would exp for only 2 hours, and I agreed. We get to camp, kill 3 mobs, the NIN tank has to go, he says he is sorry countless times in english and I'm sure JP aswell. So we all part ways after that. No rep. is sought and no one gets pissed off. Things just happen sometimes, and that is how we should play aswell.

I'm not some JP fan boy, but I agree with this playing method. Its respect, you came there as a party, and you leave as a party. 8)

countless jobs, rdm higher up 57s, pretty much 20-30 on both my blm and whm, and 22 smnr, yea it happens and just gotta deal with it, but just is aggravating lol, so i just go seek pt again or logoff, no biggie, just sayin lol
