This tends to give BoL a bad reputation. I personally dislike BoL after all that some of its members have been doing lately. Because I dislike BoL, doesn't mean I dislike everyone in it, as one of my best friends ingame has been a member of BoL pretty much since it was first created. When people flame BoL they're not (necessarily) flaming everyone in it. They're flaming what the LS itself has come to stand for.

Also, on the current situation, despite what everyone's saying the gilsellers got exactly what they wanted out of the alliance. So no, you didn't use them and them get nothing in return.

I've had mis-adventures with people of other links before and if i brought it to the board there simply was no need to flame an entire link .. i just think it's kinda silly and petty. And btw, ranting and bitching about something on the flameboard of a video game forum doesn't neccessarily designate giving a shit, some people just like to bitch and rant, occasionally i'm one of them. What my link does on their own without me is their personal business. A link should be nothing more than people who dig each other going out and doing random crap, and that's it. I can imagine there are more than a few other LS leaders who feel the same way.

Regardless of anyone's personal thoughts or feelings on the matter it stands to reason that LSs will still do things that piss other LSs off and that's just fine by me. Envy, paranoia, jealousy, etc breed competition. Unfortunately for the most part i can't claim that skill, dedication, and respect breed the same thing on the game like they use to..

Anyway... for someone with 11 posts you're awfully haughty. and believe me i noticed how you didn't take any note of the constant flow of "Fuck this LS cos my LS/ I personally don't like em thanks to Incident A or Player B.." or "they did this and i peed my pants about it" as alot of us read the threads of this nature.

Maybe it's just me, but when your LS has SOME people repeatedly doing things that get them on the flameboard...I'd say that makes it pretty obvious the LS as a whole is failing somewhere for either not punishing/kicking these people OR because so many mishaps involving SOME people have happened that nearly the entire LS as a whole is under fire just from the combined individual experiences.

And everyone saying who gives a shit, blah blah our LS internal affairs...This is the flameboard. People flame things here. If you do something that brings people to post it here, then bite down and bear with it. Unless you can somehow keep all your LS affairs out of the public FFXI community. Good luck with that though.

Moch, until I see something from WYS saying it was a one-time thing, that it'll never happen again, that he didn't even want it in the first place, yes it'll make me lose a little respect from the LS as a whole. It's not like it was only one or two people that was doing it, so you can't claim it wasn't a decent portion of your shell. Like I said, I have some friends in your shell, so it's not like I'm flaming your shell, I'm just losing a little respect for it.

A lot of the people who don't care about reputation are people with bad ones. Yes, it's a solely through a digital media that we interact, but because of that, reputation is the only thing that matters. Since we don't know each other personally, the only way I would know anything about you is your reputation. When I join a party with you, camp something with you, or go do a mission/quest with you, I'm basically trusting that you won't screw me over. That's where reputation comes into play, I'm far less likely to do anything with someone with a bad reputation than someone with a good one.

Maxiang and them are gil sellers, get over it.

Lastly, no, I'm not in your LS, I don't see your private chat, I don't know what you guys talk about in your LS. And you know what? I don't care. The only way that you can judge something like that is by their actions. By teaming up with some of the most despised people on the server, it casts your LS in a bad light by reputation. That's an action, and that's what everyone judges you by. No one cares if you are all the perfect players(courteous, helpful, honorable) inside your shell, it's how you act outside your shell that people know and comment on.

We've teamed up with other LS's and taken Simmy down. I can name MULTIPLE occassions.
