Because there isn't anyone else who is a totally different personality here than on game now, is there?

I for one am not defending anyone. I don't necessarily approve of the things he says or does here, but I'm not his momma so it isn't really my business. I think no one is "defending him" as much as they are telling the truth about a side of him none of you might bother to see. Some people don't like him here. We get it. But he isn't the first nor the last person to act like Jekyll and Hyde on these forums.

On an internet message board, you have time to look over your posts and possibly delete a misspelling or something you think others might not take well. But no one exhibits such a radical change in personality as jyakotsu, comparing his attitude on the boards to the descriptions given by his friends.
So yeah, I doubt anyone else is as completely different on the boards as they are in game as jyakotsu is.

This is a problem for you? I for one trust what RL friends tell me over people on this board. I'm sure a lot of the people on this forum are the same way. For example, Celvantes, I've known him for seven years. I've roomed with him, flown with him, got drunk together, practically everything. I'm going to trust his word over anyone else in this game and I'm sure Jyakotsu has friends just like that.

So at this point we can see he's pretty delusional, his rl friends make him into some sort of weird headhunter, and he likes to use profanity a lot.

My next runin with him involved him flaming someone who asked him what his pt setup was when he sent them an invite. He even quotes the conversation in the flame...

Jyakotsu is one of us that don't care about having the perfect setup. I've never had what the illustrious Rappa would call "decent xp". If he's inviting people holding out for all WAR and 2xBRD then they aren't going to join Jyak anyways. Hell Jyak and I have done a 73 SMN, 74 BRD, 3x 75 SAM, 75 NIN party before. Who cares, it was fun and we made some xp (and chain 72). And he didn't even flame Chemira for asking the setup. He knew from him asking the setup and reading the comment "BRD Only" that he wasn't going to get Chemira so he said 'Nevermind'. Also I think the response:

Chemira: Thanks you just saved me from a big headache

Is an equally poor attitude and would pretty much make me not want to ask that person again.

Finally..... July 20th. D-Day. The day that will forever be remembered as the worst day in QCDN history, the flame about ninjalotting Myrrh's YYR was created.

The original flame was actually okay aside from having a retarded title that was later changed. The problem is that it became an OBSESSION for the little moron. I seriously think that since July 20th, 2007, Jyakotsu hasn't dreamt of anything at night other than this event. It's STILL TO THIS DAY in his sig, several months later. This incident has been referenced in more topics than anything in the history of qcdn. It's hard to find the examples since the search engine won't work for the term "yyr" but I really don't think I need to link to them anyway since I'm sure everyone who has read this far into the topic already is more than familiar with all the bullshit derails this dumb incident started.
