Why would you be desperate for cooldown time on anything but a high-check tough? Therefore, why would you ever need bolts while subbing nin? There's no point. You don't need bolts if you're soloing with /nin. Most sub nin while soloing because it's easier. If you sub warrior, then you're looking for nothing but pure claiming power. I would use one sleep bolt on sozu as a thf/war, and that's to land a sa/berserk/warcry/macro/DE. Perfect dodge probably. Then a couple bloody bolts.

There is no discord. I don't know what you've convinced yourself of, but I'm sorry if you need bolts as a thf/nin to solo anything below tough check. Get some evasion. And if you're a thf/war soloing, why on earth would you go beyond DC check? A thief can go all out and take down a slow VT using nin AND bolts pretty quickly. But a thf/nin doesn't need bolts on DC and below. A thf/war can probably max out at T check solo, going all out with bolts and ranged tactics. VT if they have a half hour.

There's no excuse to have to rely on bolts for anything below Tough check if you're a thf/nin. If you're bolting EPs and DCs as if your life depended on it as a thf/nin, stop playing thief. You're not cutting it.

No, straw-for-brains, I said I needed Utsusemi to beat 200 xp-per-kill things. Sozu is EP. Sozu barely agroes. What the **** do you know about thief? I would sub war and use bolts to kill sozu, evading most hits. I would sub nin and use shadows to kill bark tarantulas because they're 200 xp a pop and don't miss nearly as much.

I'm not like you el. I'm not antisocial. I don't pop VT mobs on purpose alone, although I've tried it. I get parties. Gimp red mages solo. I don't work alone these days.

I don't care what you are fighting for one. You rely on NIN and not THF. I've watched thieves solo Very Tough mobs WITHOUT utsusemi. They subbed RNG or WAR or something else. /RNG usually for sleepbolts. You aren't the "BEST THF" as you try to make yourself out to be. By the way.. I only solo things for 1) farming 2) fun 3) helping someone out with something too tough for them or 4) solo-ing exp cause I can make 2000 exp an hour without a party and I don't settle for parties that 2000 exp an hour cause then I can't just do as I feel. The ONLY time I exp are in parties that atleast reach 8k/hr and guess what? Usually I get parties with 15k/hr. You are just too gimped you'll never see that. No, you don't need a cannon party to make that (or close to it atleast). You need skilled, intelligent, well equipped players ready to focus on the exp sessions. When's the last time you exped? oh wait.. no one will invite a gimped THF to their party... all you do is sit in batallia downs selling coins to "fund your LS" when really you are just lining your pockets. You are a failure as a THF, a player, and, overall, a human being, Peregrine. Do everyone a favor and just shut the hell up.

I just wanted to point that out to the idiot here. He thinks he's such a great THF but doesn't rely on his THF skills. GG! Anyways.. where has Vang gone?

Ok Sneaky, let me elaborate. This is just redundant, I dont even know why people see any point to actually trying to have a discussion to Peregrine, its no longer interesting because it might as well be scripted, its the same thing over and over again. Peregrine makes some point about him being the elite, and you being the masses, everyone points out his contradictions and overinflated ego and seems to believe its some sort of worthwhile accomplishment.

Whether I'm here to derail, or if people hop on me en-masse and I simply will never back down remains to be seen. I've never not been hopped on by 20 people trying to get their slam dunk on me. There has never been an argument that I've entered where all eyes didnt turn to me and post at me.

I find this interesting actually, because Peregrine is correct. Now whether his continued dialogue is an unrealized performative contradiction or just a means to further prove the latter, I don't know.
 
I already said that I will never back down from petty interjecters who think the internet gives them some kind of capabilities they don't really have. Give a random person a keyboard and monitor and forum, and suddenly everyone's 90th percentile. I have no tolerance for medioctrity attempting to play with the big dogs. It's not amusing. I will match and beat anyone's quality pound-for-pound, and that is a guarantee. One on one is something I'll never get to do with an audience, because I'm a threat to the protection that the internet provides people with mediocre thoughts and half-assed attempts at convincing everyone that they're intelligent and sharp. It's better to play to the crowd instead of backing down every time when chumps take the low road.

As far as THF goes, he is not only wrong, but contradicts himself time and time again. Yes his ego runs the show...Pointing that out is no huge accomplishment, nor is coming into a thread and saying that you're bored. Aren't we all just stating the obvious? I mean everything, to everyone, is just so rudimentary these days. rofl.

It's a discussion forum. And this portion of the forum is reserved for flaming. I see nothing done wrong, given the context. The only thing that can be wrong is factual information, and when someone tries to trace over their steps and is caught in a lie. I have expressed my feelings about the "moderation" in another forum on QCDN, in a thread pertaining to FB posts.

Peregrine is on my ignore list, because he is a scripted, delusional clown, at best. From a factual stand point, he offers absolutely nothing. All he has ever done is stutter. He needed correcting. I did that. He got lippy, and several people jumped on him for being a little bitch and contradicting himself. The ego thing? So he's an egomaniac...Despite the fact that nobody can find one reason why. He's the White version of Yusuke.

I'm not going to fall into his little game and say he is wrong or right, because with some people it is pointless to even consider having that discussion with them, they do not have a personality open to falsifiability (meaning proving either true or false).

Peregrine doesn't need correcting, he needs to have people stop inflating his ego by constantly jumping on the "lolPeregrineh8" bandwagon. If you ever see any posts he makes outside the flameboard they are generally pretty regular, its when people get on and try to have a flame war that he shows his nature, if you don't want to see that, than stop talking to him.

He's ignored now, so the only way my stomach will get sick is if someone quotes him. Maybe with fewer people even seeing what he's saying, he'll stand a better chance at convincing noobs to believe him and think he's really smart. That's sad for THFs everywhere. I'd smack him down continually for being off base, but rather than break the new rules, I'm better off ignoring him.
 
See, the only way they can tear themselves away from the realization that they just can't stop otherwise is to cut their eyes out completely. The rest don't have it in them to quit without force. Some try to search for when I get cut and pasted, and then STILL try to come back and argue after only being able to read that little portion. They can't help it, because they know they lost and it eats at them. You can only win or lose in your head, which is why I tend to be the one who exits topics first. They lost in their head. Hitting the ignore button is just a way to try to convince themselves they've won after desperately failing so many times. Cubs may be the only use to have ever backed down and stopped once the ball got rolling. Maybe he convinced himself that there is no score to win or lose by.

This recent affected doesn't even know my position on thief. He blatantly doesn't even know why he's here or what he's arguing against. My only contradiction was that I didn't word how I would handle bark tarantulas clearly. I fixed that twice. Maybe three times. And yet he's so anal because he thinks he's got me, and that's the goal of every last one of these posters. I said i needed bolts on tarantulas. I said I didn't need them later. I fixed the dissonance with clarification. That's not good enough. He's a thread crapper that got caught up in the moment. Sarcasm consumed him until there was nothing left but a jabbering head that made no sense.

Seen it before, I'll see it again. I came here to tango, but the fans want topless mud wrestling.
