First off I'm going to state this is no one's fault but my own, I didn't follow my own rule which is don't lend out account information which I stupidly did.

My first flame ever since I'm a nice guy I usually don't try and make enemies, this game is for fun not to make enemies.

Okay so my secondary taru account(Kialai) had been taken about two weeks ago by the player Kariri. The story is I've had been paying for these two toons and have been focusing on college and don't have a job as of right now so I said I was going to cancel Kialai to save for next semester or until I get a job. Beckham in my LS asked to use it, Okay, he's in my LS I can trust him which I do. He let's his Kariri friend borrow it which I was okay with and in no way to I really feel this is Beckham's fault he just trusted someone which is as I have come to learn something you can't do in this game. I come online and Beckham tells me he changed the password and won't give it back. I call SE over and over they can't get it the password changed all they can do is cancel my card which is what I do so I don't pay for this piece of shits play time. Don't see it online for the past two weeks, I thought he was just going to let it die so I pretty much said whatever and forgot about it. Today right before this stupid maint I see him online, leveling the toon. Now I'm sooo pissed because all the time and effort is wasted on a low talent piece of shit like him. I get people to send him tells but of course he hides behind his black list and won't answer anyone. So, yeah, I know now my account is gone for good.

As I stated before this is my fault so I'd understand why people may feel I look stupid. I just wanted everyone to know how low this guy is and don't let him use my toon in anyway if you run into him. Don't allow him into your LS, don't exp with him just let him rot. I don't know if anyone is real good friends with him since Beckham was and he backstabbed if but if you are I would really appreciate it if you would ask him to let me have my toon back. :(

1.) You gave someone your acct info - end of discussion, you have no right to rant, as that is an unsupported feature of FFXI.
2.) You said the word 'toon', when I can only assume 'character' or 'content ID'. It's a Character Select Screen, not a Toon Select Screen.

Shit happens, go sit over with the rest of the FFXI gulli-bulls who let a "friend use their account to do some shit, but then he jacked my character and my shit."

I wish SE would just cancel accounts and outright delete ones that have stuff like this happen to them. If Sabs ever got stolen I'd rather see her deleted than played by someone else.

Granted, the only way to do that is to show that you're still the one paying for it. If the thief switches CC#s, S-E can't and won't do anything about it. For all they know, you could just as easily have given the character to that person legit.

PS: This "We've all ready covered this topic" BS that's been popping up is really annoying. Yeah he gave out his info, yeah he got his account stolen and yeah he admitted it was his fault - he feels stupid for it, you don't need to remind him - he's just giving out a warning that if you see this character running around it's stolen.

If we only posted topics that haven't been covered before this would be a pretty dead forum - I personally appreciate the warning that this person that I might party with is a stolen character. If you're sick of topics like this, how about you stop reading them?
 
No one uses my account unless I'm right there watching there every move. Meaning I log them in THEN they can play as me if they want.

Kariri is a known bad player of questionable character. This isn't the first time he/she has appeared on the flameboard for being an asshole. It sucks what happened to you, but unfortunately, your warning will likely fall on deaf ears. This place has seen countless stories just like yours and people are still giving their information out to people they "trust." It's sad. Maybe someone will learn from it this time.

Eh, it's more as if anyone knew him to talk some sense into him and just give it back. I've only been on this server for about 3 months now so I didn't know of him or many other bad players except for that loud mouthed THF in HA.

I'll be fish :P just need to ungimp my RA haha since I can't cure bomb myself anymore.
