Any book starting with 'Fred just stood there.' doesn't deserve more than 3 stars at best, and that's with a damn good plot. I'm not reading it. I may be an avid reader but if you can't capture your audience with your introduction you're setting yourself up for failure right there.

Clicked the link, then immediately I went... oh no, what if it's a virus page... saw the word (2005) slammed the page shut.
