Yeah...

It wasn't even the storm itself that was bad, merely the lack of power, gas, phones, internet...

my internet still isn't up, and probably won't be til the end of the month, thanks to my cable provider being under 12 feet of water.

i'm going through DTs

ya, good to hear ur ok... but cmon now... dun complain when others are in a MUCH worse situation...
 
Eh, hurricane aftermath is not that great no matter what the situation is. This one is on a bigger scale and has more recognition and displacement. Also, there are still other people in the gulf coast area who have yet to get insurance claims and rebuild from about a year ago to Dennis. Expect insurance premiums to rise again. x.x

Glad to hear you are okay Asplode. Stay clean and cool if possible.
 
True, my mom is still in new orleans in a hospital. (she's a nurse)

But still, if you're going to stare down a cat 5, then why not have fun while doing it? So I set up a grill in a breezeway in my apartment complex and started grilling. That and watch the privacy fence get torn down. Fun stuff.

But I don't feel like waiting a month for my internet to come back...

Q: How am I posting if I have no internet?

A: I have internet at work.

Also, thanks for your concern. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that people care if I'm okay. :o
