1. Some ppl just have no life because lvl 62 BLU is just plain ridiculous after the exp. has only been out for so long.

2. The guy's blue magic skill probably isnt even cap'd or the mob evasion is too bad ass for his acc., which would explain all the resists.

But yea......discuss!!

Its been posted on other places too, like theorderls.com.

The guy *DO* have capped Blue Magic and Sword Skill actually, and a lot of +accuracy gear.

Toramas are notorious for their evasion though.

He just showed 4 screensots of 1000 needles missing. But that's not to say much, as he didn't mention how many times he used it. For all we know it could have been 4 times it missed out of 200 tries.

Added the OP from the link in the OP of this thread. ^.^

Being powerleveled into the 60s...Heh.

Thx much Brin

Maybe there's some contributing factors in it tho?

Not wanting to start the whole stupid ass 'my race is better than yours' shit but...

He IS galka, and the fact that he was subbing THF might have something to do with it?

Or maybe it's just an inaccurate spell, considering it does so much dmg un-cut like that... it's either All hit or no go maybe?

I'm thinking that.....since the spell isnt Physical and is Magical, for it to stick may require INT more so than ACC.

say hello to blue mage cannons once that spell gets around.....

Didn't pay much attention to the screenshots, huh? He later posted screens from fighting birds in Sky and it didn't fire off even once in five attempts.

Maybe certain spells require a certain amount of TP?
Which again brings me to my "/SAM may be good for BLU" view..

and im sure in no time that obsticle will be overcome. people see a barriers for something they wanna do and break through it eventually. as always.

INT+ gear will help a lot when trying to nail that spell.

1,000 dmg... wow

I'm looking forward to the nice little, "Train a Zone of Bee's and kill them all in one swipe" thing lol... have fun farming Giddeus for Bee chips, 1k needles have fun with that <.<; ontop of our other AE spells, would be fun

Edit: And yes I do realize the 1k dmg would be broken up and divided amongst the other total mobs :P

But really when you think about it, our AF isnt even out yet, so the possibility of BLU cannons might still be there...

Magic Acc. Bonus or something? maybe something that helps them resist less often? Who knows... I just can't wait tho :/ I wanna see how we fair in the end

But we still don't know all the full Mod's to BLU magic, "Yea it's magical based, so it's automatically INT Based!" "It's a healing spell! It's automatically based on MND!!" (Not saying it's not but just giving examples)... people assume so much based on so little, let the job be fit it, get our AF and know our true roles with the game, then be bossy or judgemental like the rest of the server is -_-;

Its been tried and tested. MND does affect certain Magical spells, and INT affects certain Magical spells. Accuracy effects spells....and STR effects Physical spells.

These are tests that have been done by ppl who have had BLU as their main, and didnt just sub BLU to get test results. Nothing accurate can come from doing a test with lvl 75 job/BLU.

You said it yourself...

certain spells...

That was my point, not all of them will be based one 1 single stat

Or maybe you just need more TP for them to be effective.
Either that or 90% of the BLU spells' descriptions are lying.

this got posted on BG forums first, and yeah. toramas have really huge evasion and he wasn't even using sushi, he said himself they conned high evasion.

he does have capped blue magic and sword skill, he has pld 75 so his sword is capped for good. he just statics with his LS for about 5hours a day, it's realistic, I could do that easily if I had a very good 5k/hr+ party to chill in for 5 hours a day every day.

The day he posted, ToAU had been out 10 days, and at 5k/h for 5h is 25k per day, which would only total 250k (level 62 = 410k). And I don't think his starting levels were able to grab 5k/h, at least not in a static or without a PL the whole ways through (and no one can brag about being PLed their entire career, but that's off topic)

And if that xp/h is even accurate, he'd hafto have averaged 5k/h (with XP ring thrown in each day) for 8h per day at the very least...and considering how flooded virtually every possible XP zone is, I somehow doubt he managed to get that good of xp til he got out of the flooded low-level XP zones as well (thinking L30+)

I think overall, probably closer to 10-12h per day, every day. =P

*edit* Read furhter into the KI topic, someone beat me to this.
