Then, our idiot MNK puller (I.E. Me) aggrod 2 crabs on the way back to camp (what a noob). Approaching camp, while i weaved between the other crabs in my way, i managed to squeak out "Dont cast on the crabs, let me eat it". So they take on the Skele with the crabs beating my ass, but the WHM (Kiali) mustve casted on one of the crabs. Party wipes except for the PLD who smartly flee'd to zone.

We wiped, so what, it happens. But Kiali decided he was gonna make smart-ass comments in /p. Starting with "It would have been nice to know a link was comming".

I shake it off.

Then i /tell to KB "If he wasnt the only mage around, i'd tell him to fuck off and quit crying..."

So then KB and the other MNK ask for R2's instead of 1's (I ate a R1 already). And this ensues...



Just a warning. We all blacklisted, and continued on with our party. I had to vent somewhere. Thank you.

So...what happened in the screenshot before this one? I've known Kiali for over a year now, and generally he's a pretty good guy. Maybe he was having a bad day, it is frustrating to die, and have your party wipe, especially if it was a slow xp party.

I'm not saying he was justified, just that if we all judged people off one negative experience, nobody would get parties. Everybody has bad days, lay off him. If he were truely a bad guy, we'd have several other people posting testimony by now about what a jerk he is. I think this was an isolated incident.
 
Anyways, I haven't been posting much other then my lol's and stupid stuff, so I'll clear some stuff up for you guys. After I said I don't give a shit about him just because he is a mage, and he warped, he continually started giving me /tells saying "hahaha fag there is no WHM seeking except for a JP you're fucked", "don't you wish you hadn't said you don't give a shit now?". So I ignored it. I continued looking for a WHM, BRD, or COR and got a blu instead because non was out there. We headed to wajaom woodlands and fought some colibris, exp was decent, even though I was dead tired. She continued to give me tells for the next minute bragging about mages always having it their way. Added to blacklist.
 
Man, the whole "I don't tell you melee how to do your job so don't tell me how to cast" argument is so boring, played out, and just plain weak.

*edit* Nox, while I entirely agree with you, it seems like this person continued to berate the OP even after warping...and even when confronted later on, was still acting like her crap was made of gold or something. Last I checked, I hafto say, I've never seen bad days turn someone into...well...an elitist bitch. =/

Today everyone was on earlier than usual and we were all psyched about another chance to xp. Again we had the mage problem but this time about 15 minutes after gathering a WHM popped up (Kiali). I don't think Kiali was really going to be a very good WHM. S/He wanted to sub NIN and dual-wield clubs. I obviously wasn't wild about the idea but healers are healers and we wanted to camp cockatrice in Onzozo so Stona is essential. I was moderately worried when the WHM mt'd to me something about not wanting to leave the pt she'd just joined because s/he'd feel bad, but was assured it was just a lot of people trying to invite.

So anyway, I see a JP COR seeking and invite them. They are out in Rolanberry so it takes them a couple minutes to get to town. We all start to gather at the signet dude in Lower Jeuno and suddenly the WHM vanishes. I wait a few minutes and they come back, send a tell about their "terrible internet connection" and then vanish again. At this point I have this JP COR and all the pt needs is a WHM or even a RDM or SMN or anything and we're good (with a non-WHM we could've done gobs up in Yhoator). We sit there about 30-40 minutes, nothing remotely resembling a mage shows up. At this point I'm pissed. When it's just my friends, it's okay to sit around a bit. We can chat it up or whatever. But now we're wasting the COR's time too. Eventually a JP WHM pops up but never replies to my tells and goes off to do something else. After that, Kiali logs in again and starts seeking pt without saying anything to me. I got so mad about that that I just apologized repeatedly to the COR and tried to explain in auto-translate that we just couldn't pt without a mage. He was very polite and didn't mind at all, thankfully.
 
How long ago was that? Kinda sucks that things like this tend to be forgotten and repeated.
