There's been a Kid Icarus Hoax game floating around for ages now.

It's Amazing what you can do with PhotoShop. These photos originated back in like... 2003 or so. Supposed to be for DS.

I was PISSED when I found out they were fake.

...

Then during 2005 and 2006, there was rumor floating about that Shigeru Miyamoto is working on a Kid Icarus Wii game.

More recently, some "concept artwork" is floating around, and the development team Factor 5 is supposedly working on it.

Apparently, this is Early Concept work from Factor 5 at the beginning of 2008. The "artwork has advanced considerably since then".

Is this real? Who knows. But I've wanted a new Kid Icarus game for a long time.

I took a Diarrhea Dump in my Boxers when I saw the trailer for Smash Bros. Brawl that showed Pit making his triumphant return for the first time.

Nintendo... DON'T disappoint me.

Well now there are rumors that Kid Icarus franchise is going to be revived (after a single NES game, Gameboy game, and appearance in Smash Brothers)! OMGWTFANGELWINGS! Allegedly this is some very early concept art and looks nothing like what Pit resembles now.

"The artwork we've published comes from a pitch document we got our hands on in the early part of 2008. Since then, sources have told us the game's artwork has advanced considerably. Despite this artwork not being reflective of the game's current standing, we've decided to share it so fans can get a look at what Factor 5 has experimented with.


The last nugget of information we have to share with you is in regards to the game's plot. At the time of the document's writing, Factor 5 had imagined a plot starring a grown-up, adult Pit, who is "cursed for thousands of years for a crime and becomes a 'fallen angel.'" The pitch adds that "a tattoo on Pit's arm bears the inscription of Pit's crime."

I remember the ending to the first Kid Icarus. If you did everything in the game, Pit would grow from a Kid Icarus into a Man Icarus, and the Goddess Palutena would come over and give him a kiss, with little hearts swirling around them.

Maybe this is a reference to that?

And Pit's crime was that after that happened at the end of the first Kid Icarus, he got freaky with Palutena and knocked her up, then ran away 'cause he didn't wanna pay Child Support. But they caught him and tried him for his crimes anyway.
 
oh? I heard it was because of public nudity. He was wearing a Peewee Herman outfit and at the movies right? ... Same crime, it was just wierd since he was at the movies to see "Spy Kids."

This new game is part of his plea bargain.
