PS3 Kingdom Hearts 3 at TGS?

Tagline above says rumour, but really, we'd be surprised if either of these things didn't take place. The latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine (not sure whether it's the British or Australian edition) is making its way to letterboxes, and in the mag's rumour section is the following: "Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at TGS". Seeing as Kingdom Hearts I & 2 were PS2 exclusive, that's hardly a stretch. And with Kingdom Hearts II being nearly three years old, we're well overdue for a third game. Stay tuned, TGS kicks off in just over a month.

Well the handheld titles are dealing with unseen events from before Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, so we would still need to see a Kingdom Hearts 3 anyway as the ending from 2 did leave the door open for a sequel (no pun intended).

btw, Nomura did say that the three new titles are not the final titles in the series and they will have a connection to a future game.

The badass ending has to do with the PSP game and not KH3 if that comes out.

KH3, when it comes out (it will eventually, we all know it will) will more than likely capitalize on the letter that Sora and company got at the earliest ending of KH2

KH:BBS, capitalizes on the secret ending in KH2FM.

as long as KH3 isn't as boring/easy as KH2 I'll be happy. I had more trouble with the optional bosses (sephiroth and stuff) in KH1 and than in KH2. KH2's triangle action command feature made it fucking retardedly easy. And the first 3 hours of the game with Roxas were so zzzzz >< game was fun, but not as fun as KH1

I won't hold my breath waiting for it to be announced at TGS, but I will be happy if it is, PS3 exclusive, 360 exclusive, Mushroom Kingdom Hearts for the Wii(hey I can wish), multiplatform, I don't care what it releases for.

I hope they have a better stand at TGS than GC Leipzig. It was as if SE really didn't give a shit. Really pissed me off that their stand was easily the worst there.

It obviously won't be a 360 exclusive, but if it was, it would be a huge slap in the face to every fan of the previous two games

I kind of doubt this since the Kingdom Hearts team is working on VesusXIII right now, and were even held off from moving ahead with it because they were too far ahead of the regular XIII. But we'll see...
