Could this be Sora in the future!? Most of the KH forums I go to think that the special ending takes place in the past. But this looooooks like Sora. Ohgawd. I love KH. D:
 
ha, took me a second to realize you were talking about the secret ending.. hmm.. *shrugs* who knows.. we'll just have to find out :P

But if the pic is about the secret ending, all 3 of the keyblade warriors are supposed to be of the past.

Edit: I found the pic on the site. Only similarity to Sora I think he has is the blue eyes. It could be someone from the past who is related to Sora ;x

That is a good point, Tryrath :D maybe that is someone in Sora's family.. maybe his entire family can wield the keyblade? :P or.. certain generations of it. We do know there have been multiple keyblade wielders

Thats the secret ending for anyone who is too lazy to get it in game. If you look at it closely, its definitely referring to past events. Talking about legends, Xenohort's memories. Plus the 3 warriors pick up the Sora, Riku, and Mickey type keyblade. And their bodies definitely don't resemble that of the three, especially not Mickey.

If I had to guess, I'd say he means the game takes place with Sora and the gang in the future, but the past plays a major role in the story, whether its flashbacks or actual Laguna like setting changes. Either way, I don't think the Keyblade War fits in the future as much as it does in the past.

Hmm.. maybe, if there is a Kingdom Hearts 3, it'll have time travelling :D we do know at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 that Sora gets a letter from the king about something and it seems they are excited. And we know they can already time travel (did it in Kingdom Hearts 2 for one place :P). So perhaps you are sent back to aid in the keyblade war because something threatens to change history.
 
Good points, but they still might be off. Though, the past angle might work.

Did anyone notice the place they are? Looks exactly like the crossroads from the end of KH & the beginning of KH: CoM. According to my sources (aka, more browsing on the internet), the crossroads are a very literal meeting of roads. What roads?

We have a path of light.
We have a path of darkness.

There are four roads though. They meet in the center. Did you notice that all three came from different roads? Up to & including the man who might indeed be Xenohart. We are introduced to Twlight Town, where Roxas comes from. Could there be a path of Twilight? A path of dusk? The middle between both light & dark?

Knowing SE they will probably come up with something that none of us will ever be able to think of. I just hope they actually make this game :)
 
Oh they will. Nomura is like a cash cow to them. He makes things people buy. Plus with the success of KH2 & KH1 combined, I think that a third game could be made (hell, even a fourth).
 
Was discussing this with some friends, a key blade war, do you think there will be any multiplayer or maybe even online play in the next KH?
 
oh that would be sweet, online play. Not sure if it'd just be a death match thing or if there'd actually be some strategy, but we'd have to see.
 
Well, Nomura did make a multiplayer FF7 game (Japanese DoC), but it was short-lived. Maybe he'll realize his mistakes & improve upon them. An online KH, even just a death-match. Colosseum anyone?
 
that'd get boring pretty fast I think :P if there's gonna be a war.. let it be a war!
 
the ending of the secret vid.. the quote... has always troubled me.

Birth by Sleep could mean a lot.

A speculation I've heard is that this world, this Keyblade Crossroad, is a world born from Sora while he slept. I'll have to dig into this, I'll post more info when I get it.

Maybe we should wait for Final Mix to come out and see if more is revealed about the secret ending?

Look at the battle against Cloud at the bottom, they doing Chain of Memories gameplay again?
