Kingdom Hearts

It's all Square, only Square teams are working on KH, not Enix. Just because it's called SE now, doesn't mean Enix is involved in everything Square is working on, they still have their respective titles they're working on, so no, Enix doesn't have a say. And KH is all about Disney, they won't take them out for anything, if they do a 3rd one. And it is mainly owned by Disney, not Square. Disney worlds and characters are the main focus, with only FF cameos.
 
but KH (the entire series) is mainly owned by SE. The gameplay, the story, etc. All of it is SE. Only the worlds and crappy disney characters are disney. And those suck anyways D:
 
No, they don't, because w/o Disney, there'd be no KH or KH2. If you don't like Disney, why are you playing KH at all? It's all Disney.
And both Disney and Square worked together on the story and gameplay, so it won't stray from Disney, at all if they work on more.
 
as far as I know, the only thing disney worked on were how individual worlds worked out (which basically were just the shows/movies fixed up to add sora and such). Most of it they really didn't "work" on cause it was stuff just rehashed from their old movies/shows. They didn't really do anything with the systematics of the game or the story as a whole. (or so I've read). SE handled things like the menu, over all storyline, battle system, etc.
 
You have pipe dreams, because Disney has always been involved with Kingdom Hearts, and always will be. You'd be stupid if you didn't think Disney had a lot of say in how the game was, there is a little thing called "Disney Interactive", which is their videogame department, and worked alongside Square when KH was being developed. If you want DQ and FF in the same game, go buy Itadaki Street Special, if it ever comes out in the US. Thing is, we could go on and on about this all day, but KH will never stray from Disney :P Plus the characters that were created by Tetsuya Nomura for KH, ie Sora, Roxas, Kairi, Ansem, Riku, etc, are all owned by Disney, same as the story, and have been since the first one. So Disney could technically do a KH3 without Square, but it wouldn't have FF cameos. Here's a site for you:

i reserved the game, as for the disney SE thing, SE has just as much control over it as disney, since, in KH1 there were alot of FF character's as well as disney characters, like tidus for example, and cloud, of course you cant forget about the strongest guy, sephiroth,and people like yuffie and leon, as well as aeriss, i could go on for a while, the only thing based on disney is the world's and their character, even though FF doesnt have their own worlds, there are still man characters involved from FF, so SE may have alot more control then some people say
 
I thought Square and Enix bodn forces because they both do similar games, and both have their negative and possitive sides, so they kind of bond forces to cover eachothers backs? (as in, Enix covers for what Square does bad and vice-versa)?

Either way, I'm rather sure Square have quite a lot of say in the development of KH too. Even though Disney owns the characters etc. they wouldn't have succeeded as well as they did without SE. All of their usuall games are based entirely on the movies etc. even if its somewhat of a side-story, and mainly reach out for younger kids, while KH reach out to a much wider age group, which I'm sure Disney wouldn't have succeeded in without SE's helpand guidance.

After all, a lot is on stake for SE if they woud have failed in the project, since I'm sure they spent a lot of money on creating it, and being controlled like sock-puppets while still paying their staff is something I'm sure no company would be stupid enough to do.

Fox and the Hound. Lady and the Tramp. Aristocats. Robin Hood. That one where the cat's singing "Why should I worry?" that I don't remember the title of but it scared me when I was little.

They got plenty of worlds they could use if they ever made a third.

chicken little may look stupid, but he's actually hot in the game he does cool attacks lol

Never said Square didn't have a lot of say, was just saying Disney owns more to KH than people think, and I said all that in response to Ele about them taking out the "shitty" disney worlds as she put it, and putting in DQ worlds, which will never happen, because KH is partially owned by Disney. And yes, ships tommorow, I'll be getting it on Wednesday.


Edit: Yea, they have a Steamboat Willie world, along with Tron world in KH2, which will be pimp

But let's look at logical conclusions, let's say A+B=C, in this case, Disney+FF=KH, so the parts contribute to the whole, so KH is partially FF, so I'd say it's better off here, than other boards. And also, that's your opinion it's trash.

On another note, "major announcement(s)" by SE at E3 this year, stated by Nomura, and Square Enix corporate executive director Shinji Hashimoto confirmed it, saying SE would hold a big "suprise ceremony" at E3 as well. I can't help but think it's going to be the official unveiling of the FFVII remake for PS3, that would be pretty major, but who knows, only a few months til we find out.

alls i gotta say after playin some KH2 today is....it was well worth the wait. I LOOOOVE IT!!
and if you didnt play and beat chain of memories, i feel bad for you!!! your gonna be outta of the loop in the story a lil bit

Good to hear, I'll be picking it up Wednesday, since my local Gamestop won't get it til the day after it ships ><
