As Excim knows, I went and applied to NoizyTribe today..since I'm on the verge of losing my shell home as well as my original server. No, this isn't about that. It's about what caused it.

Load of CTY history for you to begin with; I joined soon after PS2 retail. Was pearled by Linmayu herself. There was some drama I'd rather not go into and we split into FantasyInsanity (No, not blaming the leads of that shell! It was unusual split since that shell EXISTED before the drama. Let that dead horse rot tho, if you know about it, don't drag that here) and CTY. CTY's been a small shell ever since..but now...

It's splitting AGAIN. This time CTY may not recover. Some of it is /yawn people quitting but there's something else. Lin and Nimbex at one point were married in RL; they divorced and I haven't seen her ingame since (which as I think some know, that caused some trouble after the merge since our shellholder had gone poof) but..Nimbex did something very unwise about a year ago.

He got a girlfriend. But not just any girlfriend. Someone who in game is called Kirella. If you ran into her in game, you might think she was ok. But she has one small problem...

She snipes at people way too much and also she bites the hand that helps her. I'm serious. She ended up chasing 5 people out of the shell (2 returned; a third came back for a while, that was Jahn, but he ended up not only leaving CTY, but eventually worldshifting off Quetz, and he's now considering quitting the game), blocking one person from joining the shell (said person turned out later to be a ass but let's not go there) and in the end..well, here's what I understand..

Seems last week, (I'm not naming names here except hers; this wasn't their fault) she held up for 30 minutes a static she was in due to limbus (Two people in it, who are also in Howitzer, usually stay in dyn until called for, so Kirella thought she could get away with that). Nimbex wasn't paying attention (tho he'd basically been told 3 times what to do; via our site, email AND at the place) and didn't even know which fight. They failed since Nimbex hadn't been listening (not to mention he broke a rule; "Eat your mithkabobs!" which is a way of saying be prepared). I don't know full details, but Kirella threw a big fit and left. The lead of that group threw a big angry fit, and Nimbex is taking a month static break, so that static is pretty much dead.

Now three members of said static are in FantasyInsanity (which ironically is most of the active members of CTY! the rest only log on one to two days a week), and I've had it. I wasn't deeply involved in the first drama mess, but I was enough that I don't feel comfortable asking beanie for a pearl myself, but I am keeping touch with the remmants of CTY even tho I'm leaving my pearl in storage. 200k says next month when Nim comes off his static break, he's gonna come back to a very empty shell...

All I can say is, "Go LIE in that bed you've created, Kirella! And stuff that up your butt, SIDEWAYS!!!" Also; Cupid is not only blind, he's a moron.

Don't blame ya for laughing tho it is sorta serious. Basically...UNLESS Nimbex kicks her and CTY can do some serious recruiting (which that shell hasn't in YEARS), the shell will wither and die.

It's that bad..the only members there now only come on 1-2 days a week. And if Kirella complains of being alone and hides in a fail-endgame shell called LaVivaEnRose...well. She caused this.

I suggest if people here are smart, don't invite her to your ls. You will be extremely sorry if you do in the long run.

I know. I can understand what's been happening before this load of drama llama that forced me to realize the shell is about to go under happened. I mean, RL happens. People have kids. People get busy and don't have time to play anymore. Some even look at "They're raising the cap to level 99!" and blanch. Or they're also MMO'ed out and are not interested in the new content; aka. they've had enough. That's why people are quitting the game or on the verge -- At least in CTY. THAT is understandable. If you're too busy/had enough, you've had enough.

But a piece of work like Kirella chasing most of the members that have TIME to play out of the shell...I mean, I found out after Nimbex has been trying to get her to stop that snark/biting but she won't, so he gave up. Also at times, Nimbex has started to border on mean. I heard hints that sometimes Kir might have control of that taru. That might explain it unless they're starting to echo off each other. Not to mention what happened, is VERY not like nimbex. I have NEVER heard him not be prepared for something like that before.

I also saw the pattern with the backstabbing a year ago, I had a feeling that that static lead would eventually get it in the can. It finally did happen. What is worse, that person and Nimbex are RL friends. So this is even MORE disturbing. (Just so you know, every person who helped her, she eventually said she hated their guts or snarked/chased them away from her. And I'd been ignoring her and refusing to help her if I could avoid it. Sometimes you can't, in a small shell like that tho. She liked to chew on me a lot, but I wasn't gonna let her win, so I just was Teflon about it.) So if she's alone, she deserves it. She chased about everyone off, you do that, you don't have anyone to talk to anymore.
