Kirin in less than 10 minutes

Well, considering most shells arent anywhere NEAR what we saw in that video, guess who's door most shells still knock on?

They had a bunch of outside WHMs curing and look over at the left side, there's like 10 or more BLMs

Dont think you can stun Kirin all that often, Iv seeen Stun land maybe twice.

The BLMs don't cast at any time during the video in the first link. Listen to the sound (which will always be audible regardless of filters) - there are no black magic spells going off at any time during the video.
 
Yea, thats why I said Stun PT. If all 6 BLM ES+<Stun> at once, one is bound to land. Don't you think?

Plus, at the rate they were killing Kirin one Stun was all they needed.
He was already at half when he Stonegaed them.

So? It's still part of the fight. Just because they killed him before he summoned doesn't mean we shouldn't count where we're waiting for summons.

This is pretty good. If Kirin can be melee-burned people will shutup about mana-burned battles.

It's definately incredible even to watch it again... You guys think anything like this could be pulled off on quetz? I'm thinking there'd have to be a hybrid of plays from multiple shells to match the gear these players have in the video, to even come close to pulling off a time of 10-15 mins. It'd still be awesome to watch however, and think of the sweet lootzorz!

2 kirins per hour? Yes please :)

I cant remember which JP shell that was using melees to kill kirin, questfantasy maybe? But they just tossed a bunch of WARs at it. They didnt kill it in under 10 minutes, but they did have it at around 20-30 min if memory servese me right.
 
A joint JP/NA cross-linkshell operation to duplicate this and create a "Quetzalcoatl ultimate speed kirin" video would be hardcore awesome.

Actually I'm fairly certain it can be done faster than on that video - note that it looks like maybe 6-8 WARs are actually hitting Kirin.

A full alliance of nothing but WARs and their BRDs could do it faster, i bet.

Need a whm in each party for when he does AoEs.

The only linkshells who have gear comparable to that are Kaizen and Integralis (formally JDA for those that don't know) if any one linkshell could do it here, it'd be one of those.
 
5 WAR/NINs with krakens, 1 BRD/WHM for songs (All in their own alliance.) and an outside alliance of BLMs, RDMs, WHMs and other 'unneeded jobs' for Cure spam?

Kraken in the hands of a war would most likely hit for 0 on Kirin, if they hit at all.
