yeah k so poped at 10:18:51
and it hits 0% at 10:20:00
thats 69 seconds what still not beaten the record
I had been doing "/clock" because I thought they were about to pop, and I was just gonna spam that and take screenshots. That time had been on my chat log for several seconds because I stopped doing /clock to get ready to start the video since I decided to do that instead. That clock line had been left in my chatlog for a good ten seconds before it was actually popped, which is why you don't see me actually type "/clock" and enter it.
Just look at the tracking of the video. The time left in my chatlog when I started the video said 10:18:51. Kirin dies at 57 seconds into the video, and that's when you see me type "/clock" and enter it, granted it takes me about a second to type and enter it. The time comes up on the log as 10:20:00.... which is not 58 seconds after 10:18:51. So the very first time on the log could not have been recently enough entered.
Or you can look at the numbers this way..
A few seconds after starting the video I thought to do "/clock" again, I wasn't gonna bother since the video times itself. Either way, You do see me type and enter "/clock" at about 5 seconds into the video. The time that comes up on the log is 10:19:06. Which is a better match to the clock at the end of the video about 54 seconds later when "/clock" comes up to be 10:20:00. Not really sure exactly how accurate "/clock" is, but I'm sure the time displayed after you enter the comment is good by at least less than a second. Either way, there's no way you can really believe that the original clock already in my chatlog is the actual starting time.
Like I said, the video starts a mere second after Kirin is popped because I started recording as soon as Kirin was up on my screen. After having come back from my PC crashing I wasn't in alliance to see the chat and know that they were trading. I don't really see how it matters though, when you can see that everyone on the video is still in the process of facing/targetting/engaging Kirin. We do have screenshots with actual timers right on them though taken with Kirin at 100% and again at 0%.
Considering that the two fights beforehand lasted about 2 minutes and 20 seconds, (i know one lasted exactly that for sure), I don't find it so unbelievable that the last fight, where everyone was allowed to use all of their two hours and abilities, lasted just under a minute. That's really just a bit under half the time for the previous battles, which doesn't at all sound far-fetched considering the difference that MNK and WAR and BRD two hour abilities would make.
