People that are good at NM camping will win the claim whether noone, or ten people show up to compete. That thread shouldn't affect anyone with a right to care. People with the right jobs, enough friends and enough practice will get their rewards the most frequently. I don't think everyone is entitled to every lucrative NM drop. I just think a page of ToDs is a nonissue. The people who would go there prepared and able to win wouldn't need a handout. The opportunists who just stop by because they came upon the info won't be a threat. I've been privy to ToDs before, and a couple of them were lucrative ToDs but that didn't follow through into my acquiring the NM drop. A while back, maybe almost a year ago, I was goofing off in the LS when someone claimed argus and got the charm. I was there the next few days but I'm not 25,000,000 gil wealthier for my efforts. The people this idea upsets the most needn't really care. Vang, you're going to get the claim anyway, or you and your friends, however it works. It doesn't matter if 20 villaige idiots show up hoping to win the lottory. The people who practice the most dominate the scene. Those people don't need ToD handouts. A nonissue I say.
 
Sweet, another topic for Vang's ass-kisser crew to come lock their lips onto. Though to be fair, I agree completely that asking for hand-out ToDs is pretty damn lame. If you can't extoll the effort to get a ToD yourself, I can't imagine that you're going to actually go through with camping the mob either.

Anyway, let's hope this doesn't turn into a Vang fan-club topic like they usually do, though it looks like it's heading that way already.

It was never about the pro-campers getting screwed out of claims, it was about people wanting handouts and getting things without putting any effort at all into getting them. They couldn't be bothered to get a ToD themselves, or even get it from their LS or a friend done with the NM, so why should they get the ToD? They're not even putting forth the effort to type "/sea Zone" and search whore a ToD, so they shouldn't expect to get a ToD from someone else, and they shouldn't expect to get the item. I'd doubt that they'd even use the ToD's to begin with, since camping is probably too much work.

Also, the thread was originally for mobs dropping rare/ex gear, but 2 of the 4 NM times posted didn't have any rare/ex drops. The two non-rare/ex dropping NM's were even HNM's, which probably would have pissed off any HNM shells there if the next day a lot more people showed up who weren't there the previous day.

Oh and surprise, surprise, the thread wasn't updated if anyone even used the ToD's to begin with. Lazyness ftw.

Do you think I am scared twerp? I have smoked the best NM campers back in the day before most of you had this game installed. Half of them don't even play anymore. I am more disgusted at the fact YOU ARE WANTING A FREE TOD!

The lackies are the morons that don't camp ToD. Read my post, no matter how good a claimer you are, the more people there the less chance there is to claim. It isn't a secret.
