Kittens and An Asshole

I remember one time, I was 'rescuing' a cat. I was so happy, and my dad was angry I brought a kitten into the house. This was in January (of like, 1995). I had the cat not even two days, and I went downstairs to go feed it before school. I start panicking, and I couldn't find this tiny cat. My mom was about to drive me to school, so we left the house, and there I saw it, dead on the cold driveway pavement.

I love my dad. Don't you?

ouch... -.- thats fucked up

What lvl are they? I am looking for a kitten tank in end game.

Ok, if a person would leave animals like that to die (OPs post), I fear for their children, if they have any. The way people treat animals shows a lot about who they really are. My dad once hit my dog too hard when she was a puppy because she peed on the floor (he's huge, his hand can palm my head like a basketball), he cried because she yelped and limped for a bit. She was fine, but that kinda shit just shows who a person really is. Remorse, or straight up cold fucking abandonment. The OPs culprit is obviously the latter.

You guys are giving those kittens (and even the poor little one that passed away) such a HUGE chance at life, Chuash. I commend you for your compassion, I'm sure they'll grow up to be wonderful little guys ^^. That your girlfriend is a vet tech gives these guys a huge advantage. You sir, are full of win.

I hope you don't take this wrong (well you can really I guess)... but.. your dad is scum >.> may he get testicular cancer and have to lose his balls D: (and anyone who's a douche...). I don't care if that's "too harsh" but such inhumane acts.. they deserve to suffer themselves :|

My brother when he was little, like 6 or 7 or something, was angry so he picked up one of our kittens and threw it at a wall so hard it died.

; ;!! Did he feel bad?

Shit...

Wow it's nice of y'all to take in those kittens. They're so cute! My brother-in-law found my current cat Buncy outside on the curb as a kitten. We looked for the owners but no one ever called about her so I kept her. I can't stand to see animals treated like that. :(

Sorry to hear about the lil guy, Chuash :( , but at least he was loved and cared for right up til the end. It warms my heart to no end just knowing there's people out there like you, your girl, and all the animal peoples in this thread.

How are the rest of em coming along?

Persoanlly, I don't like cats. Valcristiel knows this all too well. Although, I would've done the same in your situation and given them a chance at life, then given them away to someone who wants a kitty.

Damn surprising they weren't dead already since they were separated from their mother so early ; ;.. WTF is wrong with people today.. Sadly it isn't just animals that are treated this way.. Society is so effed up people do this to their kids now..

From the title of this thread I thought it would go in a completely different direction.

That is some serial killer shit right there.

after katrina passed and people were finally being evac'd out of our building one of the main concerns of certain tennents was could we take our pets. met with a resounding no this shook up alot of them. My GF elphaba in perticuler. we had 2 just cats at the time, corin and sydney, and she was distrought by not being able to take them with us. although i didnt wanna leave them behind as well, my first priority was to get her out of NOLA safely. but prior to leaving the pet owners gathered together and got everyones name & info and vowed to find a way to rescue all the animals left behind

things happened and eventually we were out of the city and headed to atlanta to meet up with my parents. Elph's safty secured my focus shifted to the 2 little ones we left behind. it was the only thing on her mind the whole time. my parents took us to the library every day to check for word from the others. and when it finally came we were off the the shelter in mississippi named "Best Friends" that one of our people found and had rescue every animal they could out the building. and i think they got em all. Elph was so releived when she got her babies back and her mood improved greatly. all thanks to a group of people that cared enough to save our pets. im eternally greatful to them for that.
