Ahhh, I appreciate your words of honesty. I remember that party clearly. Indeed, I was distracted. I would have to say though, that is largely in part to a small verbal tiff. However that may be, I have to say one thing. My character is not purchased nor is my gil. I am currently coming up on 80 Days of playtime all of which I have played. Having read over your rants, I am now aware of some of the mistakes I made as a whm. I think one of my biggest mistakes is playing while extremely tired. However, my hesitant use of erase is due to the mp cost, and lack of need. For example, I do not feel the need to erase a blm who has slow. I attempt to focus my erases on the damage dealer and the tank. If the damage dealer has slow or str down, I erase. If the tank has evasion down, I erase. I am also hesitant to cast poisona at times, reason being, if I have regen II on a person and they are poisoned I am not too worried about such a minor hp loss. I will admit that the party with firestreak was horrible. However, insulting us is not necessary, to err is human. I can say that since the aforementioned party I have learned from my mistakes. I have fashioned myself into a much better whm. I apologize for that horrible party performance; you definitely did not have my 100%. My over-curing comes from a learned behavior as pld and war, until recently I always felt the need to sacrifice myself to save another. However noble that may be, as a whm it is not in the best interest of the party. Thank you for your brutal honesty ^^

As far as your grammar is concerned, I must say you are very well spoken compared to the majority of QCDN LOL

As far as erase, I haven't experienced it yet (no whm's I've partied with thus far have had it). But I can say one thing in regards to being slowed as a mage. When I am slowed, the downtime between casting spells is much longer. Perhaps I notice these things more because I'm a red mage with fast cast and the like, but if I am slowed and also helping to backup heal, etc I ask for haste, if haste is able to negate the slow effect. Nothing annoys me more than that "Unable to cast spells at this time." message :evil:

i had a PT with konartist a few days ago. fearing what i read in this thread, we went on to get xp. wasn't too bad. i guess he was on his good behavior that night. i think we ended up getting 5-6k/hour. of course he did stuff like melee instead of heal, etc. but oh well, we got lots of xp so who am i to bitch.

Soulseige has been gone since Jan 10 he had some very serious real life issues. I told him before he left and I mean it still, I died a little bit when he left, and Vana'diel is better off with him here.

Honestly who gives a shit? This thread has been a constant tug-of-war by me to try to keep it on topic. I thought you wanted it to die but hmmm apparently not?

These facts remain true:
You tried to MPK me and claimed you were justified because I let you and Soulsiege die on purpose.
I proved that wasn't true.
You insult me for it and never apologize or back down.

So give it a rest. I don't care if you miss Soulsiege, or if you were on so so good behavior lately. I have thoroughly proved your guilt here, get over it and quit with the nice act bullshit.

And for the record Yanzi, I never said once Konartist is a poorly skilled player. If I had thought it I'd sure as hell of ranted and raved about it. I'm sure he's perfectly capable of peforming well in an exp party. I said he was, in this case, an asshole to me. This appears to not be a pattern.
Konartist appears to selectively be a total asshole to certain people at certain times for no reason, and besides that gernally a good player.

It's baffling. And as shown here, he refuses to respond and argue to any incedents that make him look bad and simply assume everyone doesn't believe them.




So... in summary... let the topic die, or keep it on subject. Or else i'll get pissed off and rant again.

your never gonna stop doing that. Being nice isnt an Act, I'm generally a nice player, you were a dick to me and unlike alot of people who kiss your ass I refuse to put up with it. I have no doubts in my mind that your a greatly skilled player Fire, as a matter of fact I know you are, however I honestly believe you take the game a bit to seriously. Get over yourself Fire, Vana'diel doesnt revovle around you.

Funny thing is I actually think we can get along if you were not so apt on always trying to prove your right. I stand by what I said.

Oh and Soulsiege had very very very serious issues so please dont make it seem like I just "miss" him I generally cared for him as did alot of people.

Also you never proved you didnt let us die on purpose.....but I bet you will do a few copy/paste jobs to try to prove it

The whitemage who died, your dear friend, who you just ranted about how much you missed and claim isn't an act, admitted at the beginning of this thread he did exactly what I claimed, which caused the death. Yet you want to use the thread to show you're so kind by saying you miss him, while at the same time denying his admission.

I speak my mind, people either agree with it or disagree. Sometimes the same people who at one point are calling me an asshole for my view on one topic are saying I'm 100% right in another topic. You're the one with fucking board trolls echoing your voice. And there's a hell of a lot of people I go out of my way in game to help You don't see me trying to build the "really helpful and kind" argument against the accusation that I let you die on purpose.
I said simply, find one person who has seen or even heard of me not provoking on purpose as my paladin or ninja, or even bitching about dying, Maybe no one stepped forward because it's something I've never done. And so then you critisize my defense by using quotations from this very thread.
Well I am sorry but unofrtunately my toilet doesn't double as a time machine so I can't go back in time and take pictures of the TV during our party. I can however use your own words and the words of other party members to logically prove certain things. I do believe, there's not much better than finding the admission of a good friend who was on your side that he was the cause for the death at the end of the party.

I can't speak about her ability, but I do know her as a link buddy. I don't think that she is as bad as you say she is. She has had some of her darker moments but we all do at some point. Soulsiege has unfortunatly been forced to leave the game due to personal reasons. All of us at BlackPearlPirates hopes that he can return someday.
