Kougaiji ~ A party's THF nightmare t(._.t)

In a party today and the THF was just terrible. He didn't bring any silent oils, knowing we were running through Kuftal Tunnel. Didn't mention this until everyone was through the cave so Sabia had to go back and get him. She ended up dying (poor sabs ; and this aggrivated people but we just went to camp. For an hour he can't land SATA to save his life. He ended up SATA'ing my voke partner more then me ;p. Then he pulls a long run and dies just before he reaches camp. Now, he had a flee macro, and I checked the logs and he had used it once about 45 minutes before. So I don't know if he didn't use it becuase he was stupid or it wasn't up.

He starts yelling at everyone while the mages are saying sorry, telling people how to do thier jobs. Then I finally tell him to shut it and he pulls the good ol' elite crap on me. He took his R2 and left, then spammed me with tells laughing at us because our new thf didnt have a SH. Told him I didn't really care, he knew how to SATA, and thats all that mattered. (Funny that someone with SH can't afford oils, good food, leaping boots...hmm :roll: ) /blist add Kougaiji.

I apologize for the next 11 pictures, the logs had been spammed too much for me to just go into party chat mode and fraps one or two shots. I blurred out everything but party chat (macro's stayed so noone would see blue blurred text and accuse me of changing the text). I've had a few bad run ins with this guy, he's famous for saying he's gotta go with no notice and leaving, forcing a party to stand around for long periods of time or even disband becuase they can't find another THF. ;P /sigh. Yet another idiot.... ANYWAY! Here's the story:

What a moron, I knew it was going to be bad when he said "My sneak is wearing," and i'm thinking...who gives a shit? You're nowhere near me. Low and behold he doesn't have oils, so I'm at the zone to Terrigan and he's in the Gil Seller room. I'm pretty pissed at this point.

Anyone who has been through the Tunnel know's it's easier to get to Terirrgan than get back to altep and I don't have a map yet. So I'm sitting there and have to run back and get him. I'm kind of complaining along the way and I said something along the lines of "Let me get this straight, You can afford a Scorpian Harness but you can't afford Oils?! Even I have freakin oils" to which Uzor chimed in "I do too". Whatever.

I go collect his ass and cast sneak on him, about 3 seconds later his sneak is wearing right in the middle of some spiders, he runs back to a ledge I told him to get in and I re-cast his as mine goes down, he gets away and I get mauled by spiders. A nice high level whm popped my RIII cherry but I was still pretty pissed off...Bring your own god damn oils, if you're around me I'll re-sneak you, no prob but me running back through a zone is retarded to collect your sorry ass.

Then the party starts, Cinera is great at voking as soon as the raptors are close enough and Kari is getting into position...and then we wait, and wait...meanwhile Cinera's life is plummetting (even after a stoneskin) and then me and Uzor can't help but start spamming cure and get hate, SATA is pooched and Kari has to voke losing all opportunity to do it.

What a moron :x

I'm sorry, but THF isnt even a High demand job past 60. Anyone with /THF can do it. So if fuck tards like him dont wise up by 60, they can be replaced by any, non tank, mele. DRG, MNK, DRK!!!!!! Let this hobo hit 60, and never stay in a pt again. :lol:

Holy crap I knew he would end up here one day. He used to be on my linkshell....I think you could imagine. The reason he changed his job to thf was because he partied his nin with my brother's thf. He completely changed his main (sold all equipment etc.) and switched to his thf that was around level 30 or so.
His ninja is only level 60, and frankly (based on bro's observations) I don't see how he made it that far. We'd be talking about doing linkshell events and stuff, and he'd always be saying crap like, "If you need a level 60 nin, just tell me" , while there was already a level 65 ninja in the linkshell, and had been there a lot longer than him. Once a member that had been on vacation came back on, said hello to Kougaiji, and asked if he was new. Kougaiji said "No -.-, i've been on the ls for like a week or two...". He was always saying "stfu" to people that criticized him too.
Well, I dont like him very much, and I'm glad someone else agrees.

I partied with this guy on my warrior around level 45 or so.

Talk about a SATA partners worst nightmare. When I first grouped with him, I saw his gear and figured, "Hey self, maybe I'll actually party with a Thief who knows what they're doing for a change," and I learned afterwords that I could never trust my "self" again.

When he landed SATA (I don't mean 'when' as in every fight, I mean when he got lucky and was actually remotely close to the mobs ass), the thing wouldn't even turn because my provoke was more powerful then his 130 damage or whatever. I dunno how that happened, he seemed to have alright gear, but whatever.

His attitude sucks, just like your pics show. He really has no clue what he's doing as a Thief. I wish people like this would grow a brain, or atleast a brain cell or something.

Atleast he plays ballista. That way I can get out some of the anger he causes.

If the numbskull can't get through kuftal without dying as a thief, with or without oils, he meets government guidelines for special education. All it takes is one sneak, one flee, and some vague notion of what the direction North is.

Sucks that you guys had this experince. I'll make sure to avoid this guy at all cost, since 95% of the time when there is a THF in the party I'm first voke.
