Still looking for a PLD and a BRD and of course any BLM or SCH for nuking, but I think we can pull this off with a solid PLD tank and BRD for debuffing.

We tried it and failed. First time it went into shell we managed to get it right out again with our SAM dark SC and BLM magic burst on freeze, but then the he seems to build up a resistance and we were never able to get him out of his shell quick enough after that to counter his insane regen.

With that said we only had 5-6 BLM's, a tanking party, and a RNG + SAM. We really needed 3-4 more BLM, a BRD for foe req, and a MNK for chi blast while he is in shell.

We were never in any danger of dieing, we just ran out of time. Our tanking party was excellent, we just couldn't do sharp enough damage when he popped in shell to make him come out again.

Sounds like a lot of interest is building for another run. Let me see what I can put together as far as schedule goes. Would have to be a Saturday or Sunday evening. Stay tuned...

Just a tip for ur run: Try to get PLD,RDM(Turtle cant be stunned but silenced) BRD,WHM,2x SAM and BLMx12 (chi blast takes too long)
Start with Time Nuke Blizzard IV then it goes into shell,then have the SAM's doing Darkness Skillchain and the BLM Magic Burst Freeze II,that should it bring out of shell,then BLM's rest and PLD kiting Turtle around the BC,then just repeat that^^ Just very important to Time Nuke it,single nukes wont have that effect.

yeah that was our basic strategy the first time around. I think we just needed 4-5 more BLM.

Lotting Rules: If you bring an orb, then you pick 1 of the 10 drops to keep. The rest will be pooled, and split evenly amongst those participating.

Will cancel run if the appropriate jobs/ppl are not obtained.
