My stand on Beasthaven.
I think I was as fair as possible in that ANCIENT post. I told someone that it wasn't my kind of shell but
I wish them good luck and hoped they enjoyed it. I can't remember now but I think Marx is the leader.
Marx and the rest of the highlevel bsts in there only do things with eachother and only help eachother.
They will talk to you only a little bit. They are clickish and the low level bsts and mid-levels are left
to thier one little society with no high level help/guidance.
(that is my stand and opinion. Of course I shouldn't have to even say "That's my opinion" because it is
Obvious as I am writing this. But some cock out there will start in...)



Personally I absolutely love the idea of an all beastmaster linkshell. I really wanted to enjoy
and fit in with the shell. I just didn't feel at home. They recruit way too fast and don't get to know
people or make them feel at home. Now I'm a big boy and don't need an ego-massage. I'm just saying
that it is one of the things that kills a shell. You all know it's true so you can't deny that.

Last I knew Beasthaven was no more. I remember seeing the LS message saying that Beasthaven was fusing with Crystalwarders, and to contact Marx if you wanted a pearl.

You are right though. The times I did spend there were just kinda blah. Despite willingness to start and participate in discussions, noone would talk to me. But once one of the higher ups chimed in it was everyone talking. Even though it was a bit cliquish, it was a good resources for information. I had a friend or two in there who I could talk to if I needed to, but I rarely saw them online (I think they're are in a different time zone, like... Europe even).

BeastHaven is still alive, sort of like Terri Schiavo was....

There has been talk of starting a new shell though. My opinion of the group has been positive overall. Sure, it's quiet a lot of the time, but when I'm playing BST I tend to need to concentrate on what I'm fighting and not be talking. However, when I've asked for help or suggestions I have always gotten good responses. I think you just have to ask a lot of questions before you get the answer you are looking for.

I think the shell has gotten a little top heavy though. I'm currently lvl 56 BST and find it pretty easy to discuss my experiences around lvls 35 and up, but the grind prior to that is now a blur to me. If there were more folks in the lvl 30-40 range they would be better able to help the newer people.

sound angrier. I'm just not that angry. Kye just popping in on someone
elses shell to start crap is just ... blah.

I understand; I really do regarding the bst job and concentration. Any
minor distraction could get you killed. It's just that the talking to little
subgroups went beyond that. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that I don't have
the "It's just me." syndrome.

I'm still up for an all bst LS, i think that would rock. I hope another one
is around. I'd like to give it an honest evaluation and HOPEFULLY enjoy
it. At the very least, look me up for a duo if we are in the same range.
