Hello everyone. I played FFXI a couple years ago. When I left I was a level 34 white mage. I remember parties in Vulkarn Dunes, Qufim, and the jungles! (Sadly I hear VD is empty now) Those were some fun times. I even was late for work many times because I didn't want to leave a good exp party! LOL! I know it is a dying art, but I was (and still am in other MMORPGs) a Roleplayer. As a white mage I wore armor that would be comfortable for her instead of whetever the most decked out armor statwise was. I know people don't like that because it "gimps" the party, but I was always able to keep them alive (not saying there were no deaths, but they were rare). I didn't wear armor because I was from Bastok and it was far too hot there to wear heavy armor! I also refused to ride a chocobo because I didn't want those stinky birds to touch me. Yucky! This was the first game I played where I actually enjoyed being a healer. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi...I should have done this a couple days ago when I started posting, but I was too entrenched in another topic.
