y is my lagg so f******* bad? i will just be standing there and my recieving thing goes down to 0. can anyone help me and give me some advice? ooh yeah and im on ps2.

We need more information. ISP, Connection type, do you use a router and if so what kind, does it happen anywhere or only in certain places?

i have cable, road runner, im going off a linksays 8 port router, and it happens everywhere .

The linksys router may be an issue, I've read some problems with that brand, but theres been mixed reports. Have you altered any settings on the router? Is it the first time you've used it, or has it worked before and has recently started to mess up?

my one router broke a few weeks ago so i was running straight off the RR modem for a few weeks and i still had the lag. so the other day i bought a brand new router and i am still having the problem. i broke the connection coming into my house and then reconnected it to make sure all the connecters are clean and tight. then i went back on the game and withen the first minutes i lagged out like 3 times. i called RR and they are going to come in and test the connection coming into my house and give me a new RR modem. if that doesn't fix my problem i dont know what will. if i still have this lag i might have to call up and complain to some Squarenx support people :? .

If you are using a Linksys router and PPPoE protocol to connect to your ISP, then set your MTU value to 1450 (as per Linksys tech support).
