Well these days i'm living in a campus 5 hrs away from home.Me and my room mates usually go out on weekends n what not but on week days things get alittle boring sometimes.I'm bringing my xbox up there this sunday with halo 2 and rally sport challenge.I have a game cube up there with soul caliber 2 already. But i was wondering if anyone got any suggestions on a game that's really fun to play with others (Co-op and vs mode or something).I have money to buy one more game.On top of that i was also wondering if you guys know if it's possible to play Warcraft 3 on lan with only one cd key?.Cuz it would be great playin that over lan i think. We play on odd times usually n on day time i have officer hrs for a while so i don't have time to play FFXI

Halo 2, Unreal 2004, Counter Strike, Tom Clancey's Rainbow 6...

Any FPS in general is awesome over LAN, when you can laugh at your mates when you get a satisfying "HEADSHOT!" in Unreal.

Errr try Ghost Recond 2 (xbox not the 360 version) it is kick ass

you can play WC3 on LAN with one cd key, ya- just watch out for the patch updates before you LAN 'coz they can take a while to DL.
If you only have 1 WC3 disc, you'll need to load WC3 on 1 comp at a time and eject the CD after it's loaded, then give it to the next guy to load up.

edit: WC3- for LAN games, may i recommend 'Kodo Tag', 'Murder in the Mansion', 'Warhammer 40(50)k', and regular 2v2 etc. games. (just google the names of the maps, you can dl em on line

Halo2 is the ultimate LAN game, along with the classic unreal doom etc.

Get a 360 and LAN Gears Of War, you wont be dissapointed

Eh.. dont need to do that, just get a "No Cd" crack.. or use daemon tools to mount a image or something.

oh and I have lan's all the time, the best games are the classic ones like CS,Q3A,WC3,TFC,NS(natural selection) .. and a bunch of other mods or new maps, can remake a old game into new... most of my friends dont have high end pc's
