300-400 MB's is kinda huge and it would be rather rare to find a site that would do it for free.
Did you even check out the site that I posted? Or am I ingnored by you? This site is how my friends and myself send gig+ game files. None of us have ever payed one cent to use it also. It's awsome. Check it out.

Yeah, whatever Kire said is what I was going for. 100mb is still really good for a free registration site though so I'll probably try it sometime.

Obviously you know nothing of how file folders work.

Ok let me break it down for the less intelligent. Don't send it all at once, seperate the file into 100m or less and then send it to who you want to, then if they have any smarts about them what-so-ever, they piece it back together and get the whole file. Seriously does it take someone holding your hand for you to take a piss? Idiot.

Just gave me a great idea, now I just have to wait for my
gf to get back from work. ^^b

Awesome site btw, but I'd like to add another option aswell.
It's called ftp, and I'm sure most of you have used it sometime.
There's alot of free client/server programs out there, and they
will let you send 1gazillion giggabaitz if you really want to. :)

Um... some things cannot be broken into pieces as they themselves are only 1 file. Databases immediately come to mind, as they are the perfect example of a file that could surpass 300 megs easily.

Most compression programs have the option to split a file up into as many X-sized parts as it takes to get the job done.

Any file can be cut down to smaller files by
using winrar if I'm not totally mistaken? `O.o´

I've not looked at any modern compression software as of late, maybe they have. I remember back in the day, if it was 1 single file, it could not be split.

For someone acting like a complete pompous jackass, you could've at least suggested the site that allows you to upload the biggest chunks at once (rapidshare.de). Go take a leak in the pool of failure.

You could do it with "Stuffit" on an Apple since 1990.

Rapidshare has a download cap on it, and has been known to bundle spyware with downloads.

I've used it for ages and never had anything happen to my files. And if you can't get around download caps, then you probably have no real need to share large files.
