Honestly there is a little bit of both things that need to happen here. First, people need to exercise some (brace yourselves) common sense. The fact is, if Kink bothers someone so goddamn much, it's as easy as not reading things she's posted. That simple. Instead, and I can see where she would be upset by this, you have people trolling those posts, complainaing about how "useless" it is and leaving a trail of equally if not even more useless bullshit in its wake. If Vandoura or Kink or whoever bugs you with nonsensical posts, use the ignore feature or practice visual abstinence ffs. No one told you you have to read it.
Second, however, yes, I think this is all a bit overly-dramatic. Yes, I think the threadcrapping gets out of control a lot. I personally am not bothered by it on the flameboard as much as I am bothered in forums like "Good Times." But the bottom line is, this is qcdn. People have not drastically changed around here since I started coming here. People are who they are, and for each person who has something decent to contribute or something actually thought-provoking to say, you will have 2 who are total pricks or put up polls asking what color underwear they should put on today. I don't see anything wrong with what Kink posted, and I don't think what Mish said in the post was really worth blowing up and leaving over either. Unnecessary and kinda judgemental, but pretty tongue-in-cheek and not meant to be malicious. I think people who are offended by threadcrapping and random derailing need to start reporting posts they find offensive to bring it to the attention of the mods. And if the mods don't/won't do anything about it, well then... stay or leave I guess. It appears Kink made that decision and that's unfortunate.
