I would like to add something to this, but first I would like to make a caveat statement: I have nothing against Zylia, Kink, or Fire and I respect all three of them and enjoyed all the adventures we had together. However, Fire is a little inaccurate on his post. For about ~6 months of 2006 I organized, kept track of, and tallied all the points/items for CK. Kink never had more than 250 points at any given time. When I left in September of 2006 no single person in CK had broken the 600 point mark.
Now Fire is correct to say that every mage was allowed to lot on the Vivian's Ring when it dropped and Kink just happened to the win the lot. It was not a "scheduled" event. Rece just happened to have the ToD and popped the NM and needed help to kill it and those of us that helped, of which I was one, all agreed to let anyone that had a high enough mage job free lot it. Needless to say, Rece was pretty upset that he didn't win the lot since he had been working for several days to get the ToD and the help to kill it and since his lot was the second highest. However, he knew that he had agreed to the lotting rules before we killed the NM so he never said anything publicly about his disappointment. Secondly, on the A. Hands matter, yes a few people were allowed to lot A. Hands over BLMs that should not have been. The leaders of the shell admitted that there was a problem in the lotting system and a new one was devised, which was agreed upon by all the members of the shell, to fix that very problem. But you can't just make things drop that you want. Look at how many Kirins we had to kill between our first pair of W. Legs and our second pair. Had A. Hands dropped a little more frequently, Kink would have had her A. Hands.
Now regarding Zylia's post. She is right on the money about how things went down on the CK forums after the Fafnir incident. She didn't mention that her language was a little harsh, but overall her post was not vindictive or mean-spirited. It was the truth, and sometimes the truth can be a little harsh. To be fair though, this incident was kind of the "straw that broke the camel's back" in a line of incidents and just a general "not paying attention" attitude of a lot the shell members at that time. And in all honesty, Kink did have a long history of having to go AFK at events or falling asleep during some our late runs, or not really knowing what was going on. I always attributed this to her busy RL schedule so I never held it against her personally, but there were times that it would be very frustrating. I never had any problems with Kink and I never had any bad experiences with her, aside from the frustrations here and there, but then again maybe I didn't have enough experiences to see some of the other aspects of her personality.
