Could this be the SE rpg for XBOX360? Hmmm. Unreal3 Engine, set to favor western culture... Hmmm... What do ya think?

360 and PS3 I hear, check the Last Remnant thread in General FFXI Discussion, but I'm kinda hesitant on it, has the guy behind The Bouncer working on it, so meh, can always hope though.
 
I am certainly a fan of SE but I really wasn't into the Bouncer and this genere (apparent Dynasty Warrior-ish) has never really caught my attention. I'll just wait and see.
 
Since its coming out for Ps3 too its not really the RPG for the 360. Sucks Wii doesnt get anything. I read in 1up its going to be turnbased thoguh, so it might not be as actiony as it looks
 
so far, seems 360 hasn't gotten an exclusive from SE yet.. wonder if they'll announce one at the Square Enix Party :D and poor Wii.. keeps getting screwed outta SE games.
 
Looks hawt, but I need to buy 360 or ps3 -.-

Wii has had several SE games set up since before launch. I don't know what you're talking about.

really? Only thing I remember is a new Cyrstal Chronicles and that game so sucked (the first). Interesting ideas but the game was just kinda... meh
 
Dragon Quest Swords, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers are the only 2 games announced for Wii atm by SE, but no doubt there will be more. However the DS is seeing the love from SE, so Nintendo isn't getting screwed in that department, there's 6 NDS games by SE out atm, with 11 more forthcoming. In comparison there's 3 PSP titles out atm and 6 forthcoming.

Either way, the amount of DS games by SE(out and forthcoming) beats the PS3, 360, and Wii games combined(mind you only announced games, I'm sure there's some titles SE hasn't announced yet, plus the DS was released a lot earlier than those 3)

ya but most of those games for the DS are just remakes or a game I don't have an interest for :P (FFXII >.>). Though the remakes are funzor, I've played em :P nothing new. Just prettier graphics. Still.. I'd not pass up getting them XD hopefully it'd also have better (Read no) loading times like the PSone ports of many of those games had.
 
Actually just 3 of the DS titles are remakes, FFIII, FFIV, and Front Mission 1st, compared to 6 ports/remakes for the PSP, the others are sequels/spinoffs/new IPs, but then you have no interest in them anyways.
 
only FFCC and FFXII one I'm not really interested in :P and the only remake I can remember for PSP is Valkyrie Profile. What else did they remake? O.o *shrugs* I just want more new games for the Wii from SE :P NEW GAMES! RAWR!
 
Remakes/ports for PSP current/future: Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Star Ocean: The First Departure, Star Ocean: The Second Evolution, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion's War.

Not gonna go into which is which because for some of these games the line between a remake and port is barely there(ok so maybe I am). If I had to though I'd call FFI, FFII, VP: L and FFT: TLW the ports(enhanced ports, but still ports), whereas Star Ocean 1/2 are remakes.

And yea more Wii games by SE would be nice.

oh ya, I totally forgot they were remaking/porting FFT, Star Ocean 1& 2 and I didn't know they were porting/remaking (whatever they are doing) FF1 & 2 for PSP O.o thought that was GBA only. *shrugs* those aren't out yet though.. only Valkyrie Profile Lenneth :P
 
so with all these remakes i ask, what happened to SE's imagination... For alot of people ff12 was not impressive at all, just far overhyped. Last Remnant seems like a more promising game from them. Something actually new. Yeah ff13 blahblah. I am not impressed by 5-6 games in same world like this series will be... SE just seems so lame to me and i dont know when it started. Hope they do come foward with some more interesting titles. I am an RPG fan, but tired of the same old thing.
 
it's better that it's NOT an MMORPG :P

If you want some -interesting- RPG titles look for Atlus games and don't feed SE your earned dollars to keep re-creating their same crap.
