So i'm in the process of making this for someone. I always like to get feedback on my sigs, but where i'm at I don't have access to any IM programs (which is usually where i ask the person who i'm making the sig for what they think).


Basically, what do you think of it so far??

looks great to me the pld model just looks a bit awkward from its stance thats about it, nice color choice
 
hmm, was trying for maybe the basking in holy light sort of knight thingy. haha guess it didn't work? maybe i should add some sort of light coming down on hte pld??
 
Maybe change the angle on the PLD a bit, so it seems more like you're looking down on her.
 
Some of the edges on the circle on the left seem a bit hard.
 
And don't cut off the ball on the left side, I would leave it rounded.
 
swords cut off on the pld if you havn't noticed XD. The bottem shadow next to the sphere when they connect seems a little odd too.
 
Yeah, the sword, but also, how do you make the backround not visible. I've been working on how to do that, targa's can't go on photobucket, but do you still mess with the 'alpha' channel?

When you make the new file (ctrl + n), make sure that the background is set for transparent. Then save your files as .gif or .png to keep the transparent effect.

to make it completely transparent don't you need to use the marquee tool on it as well? because there's still some color out of the sig

are you talking to me?

usually when i'm doing transparent, i ctrl click the outlines or objects that define edges that meet transparent sections, select the inverse and go layer by layer and delete whatever is in the inverse section.
 
Magic wand for the win for me, I used the polygon tool to get the cool border for the red, I love how I made it look like it's imbeded in the page, it's my fav. style of sig. Plus the (futuristic) cut out like a steel panel. I don't know if you get what I'm saying but yeah. There are no colors out side of my sig other then the text of backround and my char. Hers is also fine, I don't see anything out of place.

As a suggestion to the sig. Maybe do something with the pink and add a better border? Plus add a stroke to the chars. black or a pink hue to 'mesh' and maybe make them 70-80% opacity on the layers their on? I would mess with the image but I don't have access to my computer, I'm at a friends, if you would like, PM me to reply with my e-mail to send the pink backround alone and I can mess with the chars. too if you would like and maybe cross refrence our products to get a good sig. up to you though. Just a thought. I love photoshop now that I know how to make some good stuff with it.
