Lazy players make excuses

Every job has a shortcoming when it comes to making money off monsters. Lets take THF for example; much better drop rates on items and gil, but has a hard time killing anything. RDM has godly soloing power, but can’t even get crappy item drops. Melee’s are much better at NM grabs, but have huge competition and long waits. WHM have their tele-taxi services, but can’t farm for anything. BLM can AoE farm much better than anyone.

My solution to all this is party farming. Get 1 to 3 people and use your jobs advantages. It keeps you from getting board, and every one makes money.
 
People are just fucken lazy. End of story, how many people do you see asking how to get rich quick? When they see that there is work involved they bitch.

THF being a bad solo'er is total bs. A lot of THF's don't have marksmanship capped and don't even know what status bolts are. I soloed a EP at 45 without getting hit once... I haven't tried it lately but I bet I could solo a EP no problem. Sleep bolts + SA + Utsusemi = death.
 
Oh an everyone who has Ninja subbed should always carry tools for tonko. Unlike Invisible, Tonko is on a set timer and won't fail right away.
 
Not only that, but Tonko also isn't considered magic! I thought I was dead when I started casting a Ninjutsu one day next to an elemental. Was glad to see I didn't eat marshland mud.

Sleep bolts cost money and cost way more than what you are going to make farming, which kind of defeats the reason using them while farming. I wasn’t saying they couldn’t solo; I was comparing them to other jobs ability to solo for farming.
 
I use Bloodies for farming. 4k a stack lasts over 100k of farming usually and I never have to rest. Plus they do good damage when your hurt.
