Leaders/Members of Effortless Dynamis may want to step up.

Right, right. Except all evidence points to kou wanting his AF from jeuno really badly.

That would make sense, except for the fact that you can exchange currency with other people, so there is no reason to only do the one city zones that drops all three currencies. Because of that huge hole in his reasoning, I'm inclined to agree that it's really because Kougaiji wants the THF boots there, and not because of currency.

Well, as much as I hate what happened, it did, and now they are at least using the dynamis schedule forum (their schedule was PMed to Arturus). If they continue to work with the dynamis schedule forum and willing to work out conflicts if any later in the future than there is no problem. Granted, what happened will make people weary of working with em well.. just gonna have to try.

Someone will probably have to either enter several hours earlier or change nights. No offense, it just won't work with 6 groups running all at the same approximate time and even 5 is still questionable. The problem with dynamis is not all zones are created equal. The drops in Beacedine and Xarcabard are far lower than the four cities so most groups are going to want to spend more time there than in the four cities for that reason. You can get around 8-10 relic in a single good night of any one city while farming and going for win. In an outlands area, you can get 2-4. You'd need to do runs in outlands 2-3 times more often just to get all the drops compared to any single city PLUS every job has relic in both outlands areas while only 3 pieces in the four different cities. With this setup, excluding the beginning month or two (possibly more) where the newer shells will need more time going for wins to get outland access, the time spent doing each zone will be the same. Eventually the older shells will have no need for the cities and will be unable to do outlands because other shells are there already. And not long after that, all 6 shells will need outlands and no one will have a great need for the four cities. That is if you can't convince members to do the new CoP dynamis zones which most shells don't even consider worth the effort.

hehe.. Beaucedine and Xarc (Xarc especially it seems D: ) loves lolDynamis XD at least, we seem to get good drops compared to most LSs from what I can gather. And that was the point of the thread on the dynamis forums :P that there was a huge over crowding. Older LSs shouldn't be expected to move (but if one is willing, so be it) since we have been running at that time for a long period of time our 50+ members already have set schedules around it for a great deal of time and would be rude to expect them to move. Truth is, newer LSs tend to be more flexible, but, if the newer LSs have no choice too, and really can't have any flexibility, we'll all have to deal and work with it. And the new CoP dynamis zones, I'd love to do them, but I don't want to screw over 20 or so members of being able to run with us one day cause of the limit of only 36 people (and in tavn. only 18 so even more can't enter). Truth is.. SE failed.. FAILED with how they handled dynamis :|

Alot of things have changed since Dynamis was first implimented. I think it would be safe to say that Dynamis is long over due for a complete revamp.

*wishes that you could get CP and EXP from Dynamis like you do from Besieged* ; ;

Check out the AF-1 upgrades. They for the most part are not even worth upgrading. In most instances, they add a couple of defense, +/- 1 enmity and don't ever add stats that people go after most (INT for BLM, STR/att/acc for melee, etc.). The belts/capes are the only worthwhile reason to enter and even then, they are only slightly better than already existing counter parts or sometimes neutral (Ex: BLM belt gives +1INT, but you lose the -3enm compared to penitent rope). And don't forget, the time limit is 1 hour and the only extension comes from the boss which is 30 mins or an hour. I'll do them because my shell wants to do them, but I think they aren't worth doing unless you have gotten everything you need from all the previous areas first.

You don't like Hydra gear?

It's one of those things that won't work for 95% of the server's population, mainly due to the limit on # of people, and crappy droprate, difficulty, and etc..

Also to whoever mentioned their reason to doing jeuno so much.. honestly that doesn't make sense, I think any intelligent person can figure out doing Windurst, Bastok, Jeuno, and Sandoria in one month should yeild about the same number of coins for all cities as doing jeuno four times. I'm inclined to think someone wants a certain piece of gear.

The fact that cop dynamis are limited to 36 ppl makes it hard for normal shells to do them. If they were on a different timer it might work. Add onto that that its hell to actually get to and do tavnazia while in the meantime getting worthless to mediocre to very few great drops(atleast until you get to tavnazia), no one bothers.

Has anyone ever got any hydra gear? I have yet to see anyone wear a single piece and to the better part of my knowledge, only a few NA shells do CoP dynamis zones. I know some JP shells do it (not sure how many), but they don't even consider it worthwhile either. Like I said, the relic upgrades are not worthwhile really and the belts/caps are at best slightly better than AH peices.

Which piece of Hydra gear is useful, the acc/eva/-enmity crap for mages, or the -hp/+mp/+enmity crap for pld?

Maybe some belts/capes. But a good handful of them blow anything on the Auction House away, like Valor Cape and Wyrm Belt. Granted, some of them are situational, like the Melee Cape, but when they're time to be used comes up, theres nothing that can compare.

I'm going to say the daily enchantment stuff for melee jobs.

No idea. I dont know what they do. I was just saying why people dont go for them even if they were good.

Warrior's Stone: STR+5 Accuracy+7 Opponent's critical hit rate -2%
VS. Potent Belt: STR+3 Accuracy+8
Not a vast improvement and the latter is far easier to get.

Cleric's Belt: MP+40 MND+6 Healing MP+3
VS. Hierarch Belt: MP+48 Healing HP/MP+2
Loss of 1hMP which for the effort, I think most can live with and end game, most WHMs don't stack on the mind either.

Sorcerer's Belt: HP+20 INT+6 Spell interruption rate 8% down
VS. Penitent Rope: MND+5 INT+5 -3enm
Loss of -3enm for 1 INT.

Not going to list all of them, but suffice it to say most are like this. Only a few select pieces are even worth getting, the rest are negligeably better or you give up one important stat for another important stat.

Yeah, only the DRK and SAM relic cape/belt are not excellent pieces and even then they're still decent. While some are comparable to things you can buy on the AH, others are easily among the best gear for the jobs.

Well, any good mage use spell swapping macroes. And I for one love the stats on the Cleric's Belt. 1 more MND then Penitent's Rope for Cure V's? Yes please. My goal is to get Cure V up to 900 without the help of day and weather effects. Only 60 more to go! <.<;

While yes, they are situational and slightly better then what you can get on the AH. But then again, aren't most gear situational? And people can pay millions for a piece of gear that only gives an almost negligable increase in something, so I honestly don't see what the problem is.

If you already have everything you want that is obtainable outside of Dreamlands, wouldn't you want to get that too?

Excatly, the only thing that could make the cleric's belt any better is some cure potency or some -enmity, it's already the best belt whm could get. I'm not into stacking MND for my cure 5's, but I'm not just going to completely write it off when it's part of gear that has other stats that I'm more interested in. It's just icing on the cake.
