May not sound like a big thing, but to all that know me, it really was. My main is redmage 
imp: (which im getting very tired of) so I play as nin to pass the time. I had pretty uber eq for a 31nin, most of which i farmed, or got cheap, but the one thing I was missing in my collection was.... yep Boots.
first i tried camping, woke up about 5:00est when no NAs were on to camp, followed that 5th placeholder guide and i always got claim, cept that blm who calimed with stun, while i was trying to chase him and steal claim. Unfortuatly after being 0/4 and increasing campers everyday, also with hearing the droprates of LS members (2/60, 0/45 with TH2) i gave up
Next idea was BCNM40. I needed war/ninx2, and rdm/nin , which i should be able to get pretty easily, but i had promised to reserve my last 40seals for Crustacean Conundrium (which my LS pwnzerz)
Last idea, was caving in and buying.... 3mil is alot to a poor rdm.
i have alil over 1mil, plant 4saplings on my mule that i had planned to sell as a stack, to grow earth ores. at the time they were 1.5mil, so 2 would have gotten me the boots. I knew it would take awhile, but id eventually get them.
Then it happened! Price drops! boots: 1.5mil but i was down to 600k, luckily i had a mannequin body from that BCNM. sell it for 800k~850k and ill borrow the rest! unfortunatly.... i cant sell it. after 2 days i finally sell it, i now have 1.46mil, but boots are about 1.9~2mil, so im pannicking, thinking itll go back up to 3mil soon, when finally i give up. LS friend Santoro (aka silvakitty) heres my perdicament and offers to loan me the cash if im willing2 come to his pt in bibiki. I had asked every1 to borrow money, but they were all either broke from spending quickly on price breaks, saving up for something themselves, or didnt trust me, for what reasons i dont know @.@ silva had been gone forawhile and this was his 1st day back, so i quickly use up all my greens (was choco-digging and had about 6stacks left ><) and run over. Get the money, by the boots, mine!artytime:
Although earth ores are down to about 800k, they will probably go back up by the time i harvest, I owe friend 600k, but whatever, i now have my leaping boots, right under 2dodge earrings, and next to a nomad's mantle and empress hairpin.
I plan to camp lizzy again after i get 45thf, (15 now) which i will do after i get rdm to 70 and nin to 40, busy busy buys.... next on my list is probly SH
