All good things must come to an end...
Well that is what can be said about FF. What can I say the game is Brilliant, simply brilliant. I think the complexity of things like crafting and end game options are nothing short of amazing.
However...
Things have been going wrong on the server (all servers realy) for a long time. The economy is in tatters... Darksteel ore is 20k, and do you kow who is buying it? Gil sellers. They own the economy, it is ruled by their actions. I realized the only way I could get anywhere is if I bought a few mil gil. I thought to myself... WHY?!
And then I try and party and I have to spend hours upon hours forming pts only to get shit exp... What is the point?
My best friends from the dunes have either quit or are busy doing variouse, more important activites, like watching paint dry or pondering the meaning of canned cheese. For me the old gaurd is gone... So what is the point realy... Garvin, Jag, Sapster, Vatre, Mosiak, Jebustherussian. They are all gone, seems like everyone and their cousin these days has bought gil...
I too have played WoW and I have to say... I realy am impressed... The game is so fast paced and the economy is based on rare/exc items. I LOVE the Warcraft storyline and find myself realy getting into it....
My acount will still be active, the mother's credit card pays the bill so hey it aint my money, so what the hell. But yo will probaly not see me on except for the express purpose of bugging LS friends to get on WoW.
Otherwise, I will be on WoW on the Burning Blade Server. If you are Alliance on that server look me up sometime ingame @ Direfang or DireShadow. I might visit the forums from time to time... But no gaurantes. And if you want to beg for some of my gear... Ha ha... no.
