It's hot. Still not as bad as South Texas, though.

And chpal's exactly right. I can't say a thing... sorry.

However, I can talk about stuff in the news. Muqtada al-Sadr surfaced in Iran. I wonder what all his cronies think of him now that he's run away?

Um... really. The geographic definition of SW Asia does not include Kazakstan.

In any case, I'm still alive. I've yet to see any camel spiders (thankfully). The food here is really good, so I gotta be careful lest I come back and have to buy bigger jeans.

Also, the desert is really really really bright. Someone needs to turn down that big light hanging in the sky >.<

Recent news from the front - it's a small world, even if it's a virtual world.

In a conversation involving one of my fellow squadron members, the name Fenrir (also a Norse god) comes up. He mutters under his breath "yeah, that's an awesome summon."

Other guy: Yeah - I'm a 75 DRG on Phoenix.
Celv: Nice.

Turns out he's been playing for about a year and half. If they ever allow us to switch servers, he's going to come over to Quetz. Considering he's one of the aircrew responsible for fixing parts of the jet, I declined saying 'LOLDRG.'

Dubai is the La Vegas of the Middle East even thos UAE is a muslim country
