Sequel to Phantom Hourglass, full fledged DS game, NOT DSWARE

Utilizes train travel (...) and touch motion for all action like in PH

Seems to be minigame powered, with little story (if any)

I swear, Nintendo, if this was your 4 year Zelda project you claimed to be working on, I'm fucking done.

I'll try to keep this thread updated with new information as it becomes available, this is fresh information atm

Most combat consists of using the on-board train's weapons to attack targets, usually large ones that link himself could not defeat (yeah fucking right, WW/TP bosses would like a word with you) by using the stylus to draw the train's tracks around to the bosses weak points.

Apparently link does get off the train at times but its very rare and shortlived

It seems that this is indeed nintendo's big zelda game of this generation..

Maybe it's a train that can fly and travel through time.

So PH on a train instead of a ship and on land instead of sea and where Link hardly ever gets off said train.
Still gonna get it, but confused by Nintendo's decision to go with this.
Where's the Wii Zelda, since TP was just a GC port. I'm sure one will come, I doubt this is Nintendo's big Zelda for this generation.

Seeing it in motion, played on a screen actually gets me pretty stoked for it. Looking forward to it. I loved WW and PH, and can't wait for ST now.
Sure it's not a Wii Zelda, but it's still a new Zelda, and there will be a Wii one in the future.

I'm a zelda fan and I'll most likely it get because of that but I have no hopes for choo choo Zelda.

Nintendo needed a big announcement for GDC, and this was the closest they got. I didn't really like PH, so I'm probably gonna give this a pass.
I'd expect a console Zelda announcement at E3 or TGS, though.

Maybe the train zooms by Zelda's bedroom window and he gets a peek in.

Lulz.. I liked PH but still haven't really played much of it at all. It's just collecting dust. So this new Zelda game is one I wont be getting.

I couldn't even stand WW...
I know I ain't be gettin' dis one.

This releases today/tomorrow, I hear good things about it.
Anyone pick it up yet? I won't be getting mine for another 2 weeks or so.
They fixed a glaring problem from PH, the Temple of the Ocean King, yes there is a place like that in ST that you have to revisit every so often, however you can skip floors, so you don't need to repeat all the previous ones again.
That and it's not timed.
Also hear the music is great, and lots of sidequests, improves on most everything from PH.
And yes, there is a story, and it's not minigame powered.

Game is a indeed solid. I just started it so I can't give you much on details, but I'm having a blast so far! As far as reviews go, it's getting 90's and above from many sites, which is generally a good thing to look at.

For all the people that cried a few months back, drink that jar of tears and pretend it's Lon Lon Milk or just plain old tears and go enjoy this game. God forbid something different is done, cause it seems that any slight changes to a formula causes mass hysteria.

Found out that I'll be getting mine by Thursday instead of in 2 weeks, looking forward to it getting here.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Is this an actual squeal to hourglass? Do I have to play hourglass first?
