I loled pretty hard:

"This is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in which players navigate a large cast of characters that engage in missions and fight the forces of evil. Players explore environments (e.g., cities, plains, caves) and battle human and fantasy creatures. Players use swords, spears, axes, firearms, and magic spells (e.g., fire balls, energy beams) to defeat enemies in real-time combat. Cutscenes depict a man being stabbed from behind, and creatures emitting splashes of purple or yellow blood when struck. Some female characters are depicted from low camera angles, with lingering camera views of their buttocks (i.e., up-skirt shots). Dialogue contains suggestive references; for example, “The netmaster’s probably up in his office polishing the mast just thinking about her,” “stick yer manhood in the forge,” and “You cheating little whore!” Several characters are referred to as drunk or drunken, while others sometimes talk about wine, rum, and grog. The word “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue."

Holy Crap this game is tasteless and just darn right offensive. Keep the kids away from this and get em on Grand Theft Auto or something more suitable...

I laughed :)

That actually seems a bit more mature than FFXI lol maybe it' because i haven't placed XI in a long time but I can't remember any swearing or much booze lol

It is a bit more openly adult in nature, aye. At least so far, hard to say much about the rest of the game until they let the beta out of Limsa Lominsa, may it be swamped in a tidal wave of epic proportions.

~New ESRB Announcment~ Final Fantasy XIV to be rate Adults only due to Catgirls!

I plan to stick my manhood in the forge every day I play.

I'm fairly glad to see a more adult nature in it so far. But then again as mentioned above XI wasn't really that adult and it didn't really take away from it's content. And to be honest from what I remember there wasn't a lot of immature people playing as compared to WoW or the sort. But then again it's been years since I was on XI so meh.

I honestly think most of the "racy" content will be centered around Limsa Lominsa. Pirates, etc.

So is it going to be a mostly "pirate" type of environment around the world? Or as you said only in Limsa Lominsa - I assume at this point it would only be speculation but judging by the story from the main site and the such it might not be such a stretch.

Limsa Lominsa is the piratey, port town of the game. With Gridania, Ishgard, Sharlayan, and Ul'dah supposedly very different from Limsa Lominsa, I think we can guess that each city will have its own distinct flavor.

If they add taru on galka will it get bumped up to a T rating?

I'm starting off in Ul'dah! 8)

I am gonna start in Gridania :) its pretty hehe

same here, sun seeker miquote lancer in Gridania. but I'm looking forward to seeing Uldah and its surrounding areas to, I love desert zones, especially in FF's.

I'm gonna go with one of the mage classes... maybe elementalist.. and Keeper of the moon :)

um. theres no "elementalist"

theres conjurer and thaumaturge so far, and theres hints of arcanist and mystic.
