Phelps and his "church" create sympathy for gay people every time they open their mouths. For that alone, I'd be tempted to donate money. He wouldn't take my "filthy fag money" though, so he'll just have to get it the old fashioned way... turning tricks down at the truck stop on the weekends and pretending to be an upright moral crusader the rest of the week.

Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson believe a lot of the same things, but they have a better sense of public relations. I wrote a column about it for my newspaper.
