Ok so yesterday I'm leveling in the dunes and a /sh comes up about 2x {Raise} because these people died and their home point was in Al Z. So I do a /sh back saying "Well they should of thought of that possibility before getting themselves dead". Now with all of the talk over there in NW about how D2 on a tank mid fight ruined the whole party and they now had to quit, wouldn't something like this, where it could possibly take just as long to get back to the dunes as it would take to get wherever your partying from when someone D2s your tank, ruin a party? Technically this is the same thing in my eyes and for someone to "expect" a raise should they die, is it not selfish and pretty much telling the rest of the party I don't really care for you I'm here for myself and my needs only.
Now I can understand if, like I do when PL mules, you have a person on hand ready to raise at a moments notice. But when you go into a party that has a high chance of fatality, i.e. dunes parties, with no personal raise then why don't you just set HP in selbina and then when you are done take the ferry back to the new expansion. The people that were /sh for the raise even confirmed my thoughts on the subject. They gave a /sh back that said "Some deaths are just unavoidable". They obviously knew the risk then and chose to live dangerously. Fortunatly they did get raised, but what if noone was around next time that could raise? What are they going to do then? I would just like to get peoples opinions on this subject.
