I dont know I rather like Vang. I actually started talking to him a bit here and there. I know he has had an impact on people as well. A guy I knew from way back farming Yag necklaces was shouting for a Eurytos Bow for 7 million. I was shocked and asked where he got 7 million. He said that "asshole Vang (joking manner) made me want to get it". Something along those lines.
Funny thing is that Vang provides something. Something that we need in life for it would be rather boring and dull without. That thing is conflict. Can you imagine how it would be if EVERYONE was considerate and helpful?! It woudl be disgusting! I mean seriously, think REALLY hard about what it would be like if it was. So much for a Flameboard and comedic replies. Keep it up Vang!

Why in the nine hells do all my threds somehow gets hijacked is beyond me but meh ok. Yeah my friend "Should" leave parties as soon as he sees it doesn't fit him. But, even though he knows that he should leave he gives a try and sticks for those who are attempting to do a reasonable job.
Eni, our timezone is very funky. My brd friend is 38 now. We play on GMT+1 timezone starting from 7PM~12AM ish. Depending on what timezone you are in, it will be eighther early in the morning or near lunch time. On the other hand its eighther late in midnight~early in the morning in JP time. Having this kind of timezone we eighther have to deal with our situation or just don't bother exping on weekends. He wanted some exp, and he thought his performance might cover what lacks in the party, which ends up being totally used to pl those people who aren't that skilled or doesn't listen.
Like I said he is a patient person. Although now that he is 38, I can tag him with my warrior, at the least he knows he has someone he can trust with. ( i hope... ) Should we ever reach the 40s and we find you eni seeking, yes we can invite you in our party. I prefer skilled player without "Ultra uber gear" over people who has the ultimate gear with no knowledge on how to play the job.
P.S. Black mage is good in many occations. But really, how many good blm you seen? I have seen very little. Blm subbing whm not helping in cures even when whm mp is in 1 digit status. Overnuking to get hate off the tank (This is not Cannon PT for F*** sakes). This kind of things are happening often.

i still find many good players. i grouped with a new euro white mage that was very very good.... so its not all bad...its just the not good tends to stick in your mind more than the few good encounters do.

I will gladly /blist Vang. Not because he's wrong, it's true a leveled sub can only contribute positively to any party. However, his assnut attitude isn't welcome in my book, and I'd rather play with a player with an underlevelled sub who enjoys the leveling grind, than an elitist prick who uses his free time unrevelently nitpicking at every player that doesn't meet his demand for perfectiveness.

I am going to have to agree with Vang on this, at first I thought he was being a real prick /telling random people... And then I saw Taylorfw and I wanted to punch something. At that moment I understood fully what Vang was saying. He was wearing bits of LINEN GEAR as a 50 WHM!!!! This was after he was lvl 44 with a lvl 6 SMN sub. That infuriates me that someone like that can disrespect the job so thoroughly and give mages (and WHMs in particular) a bad name. Not only was is gear bad but his spells where horibaly out of date, LS friends where complaining about him only having protect II instead of III in a high 40s party. Pre 30s I just can't bring myself to care, but after 30 they realy need to get thier shit together and treat their job seriuesly. And if people bitc about doing something for fun, well pre 30s is for screwing around like that, but when you gt to 40+ if you are a terribale player with worse gear you just make every one elses time less enjoyable.
Do I expect a mage to have the +1 staves? No, but they better have the relevant ones. Do I expect Astral Rings? No Electrum are fine. I do not need the best gear from a mage. Do I expect them to have all thier spells that are releant (Just to prevent any flames now I do not think erase is relavent you can argue with me ingame if you want not on this thread please? You better believe it.

On that note, I remember PTing with Shiia and a friend of his/her waaaay back, before I got my subjob, and they helped me a lot to get the timing on SCs right, etc.
