Libara... if you have had a bad experience with him, please post here telling about it. Today he douche'd it up pretty nicely. How many smn sub rdm and refuse to lvl whm as a sub because it is too expensive? Ugg.. oh well. Good luck and see you guys in game.
 
Yep, about a month or two ago, when I was about 68 drg, had the same problem, we had him, and a bard, both had rdm sub, in the mire -.-, pt disbanded because no one could silena, and no other healers/refreshers seeking. I blisted him after I recommended he level whm sub and he got pissy.
 
Had a party in the mire with this guy few weeks ago. I was 71 or 72 rdm and he was smn. We had no whm (which is fine). What got my goat is that he would pull out an avatar do A buff or debuff...ocassionally let the avatar melee for a bit then put it away and sit his ass down. He had over 900 mp most of the time while i was working my ASS off to keep people healed/hasted/buffed/mob debuffed. Was a xp sponge as far as I'm concerned. Do-not party list <you can have this>.
 
I think I asked him to main heal my party one time, asked him if he had whm sub. He said no so I changed my mind.
 
Libara NEVER heals, it's just how he is. He used to have /WHM .. in Qufim Island. at 22

Should you really need to solely use echo drops for silena in an xp party?
 
Dude was a total tool in pt today, smn73/rdm he was main healer of the pt with no other people able to raise on the roster.... the poor leader thought this guy was gonna switch to /whm before we left. Anyhow, he's sitting there on his full mp while the tank is getting beat on the whole pt we were doing greater colibri, and they were eating our food like crazy, tbh my acc was doing poorly while focus was down so i was using all my acc gear 'cept turban instead of Ohat... it was full moon we asked him for fenrir buffs... he whined about it like nothing else, grudgingly gave them to us then was bitchy about keeping them up...

Later, the bard pulls a mob a lil bit early and the whm stands there with 600 mp and watches him die... and lets the ninja die. this is the part where he tells us he can't raise... because he's /rdm. Great things were said like "I'm not going to sub it just because everyone else does" "if /rdm isn't just as good why have i got this far?" and later "My whm is level 20 and i can't afford to level it."

this dude should be shot.
 
How the hell is whm too expensive pre noble's? the only thing that can cost a lot is Erase but i think that's below like 100k now. Fucking babies in this game.
 
Lol most of this is bs, how can you say i never heal, every pt ive been in thats basicly what ive done. Dark i never whined about keeping buffs up, i did it on a regular basis when i saw past my lag which was unusualy high that day had worn.
I never said id never lvl whm, i know il have to eventualy but im not going to atm, since i have more pressing isues to deal with irl and dont have the time to dedicate to lvling a whole new job.
Im not going to hurry up the process of lvling whm to please some pissheads who get turned on by perfection and get pissed when they die without raise and go cry on qcdn.
Beka i dont even remember you and i dont get pissy at people for giving advice unless im in a real bad mood, and i apologies if i did.

I primarily use echo drops, when I was leveling NIN i forgot a few times and had the WHM hook me up. For the most part I only use about 2 stacks per 20k of xp, and that is with me medding myself every time.

I think most average players bring their own echos, especially when it comes to merits.

How can you live with hurrying SMN without leveling it with an undisputably better sub? You're basically skipping one of the basic foundation steps of the job. It's like Craventigress refusing to sub /WAR on /DRG because she doesn't want to level it.

It's not perfection, it's common bloody sense. /WHM is absolutely better for SMN than /RDM. /RDM offers, what, Phalanx? And tier2 nukes that will get resisted 100% of the time? AND NO RAISE, or status healing? Why bother?
 
Why the hell do you continue to lvl smn then? /whm is a standard sub for that job. It's people like this that shouldn't be allowed to get to such a high level.
 
If you're leveling SMN and you don't level WHM for your sub you should not be asked to a party no matter how desperate anyone is for someone able to toss out a few cures. I would not party with someone playing SMN who subbed RDM because there's no point to it and it hurts the overall effectiveness of the party.

I hate it when people feel the need to "cover their bums" and lie about something they said so others won't see what an idiot and tool they were. Admit it, apologize, and don't do it again if you do something like that or be prepared for people to call you out and point out that not only did you do it but you're even lower for lying about it.
