You'd have to take a test, and if you do well enough they may consider hiring within the next 50 years, haha. I was very lucky, I'm not a minority or a veteran, I was hired within about a year and a half of taking the test.
Depending on the size of office you get sent to you could either get alot of hours or be needing hours all the time. If you become a carrier (which is what I am) you will start as a Part Time Flexible, which means you cover other carriers vacation time, and when you're not doing that you carry unwanted overtime and deliver late parcels.
It's a good job, but when the time comes for you to go to school, it will be very hard to get them to work with you and your schedule. I wouldnt recommend this job actually, haha. Fedex might be better, or UPS...
