Shoot I'll be a guinea pig. I already suggested drk/whm. I'll go whm/sam too. We all know how important tp is to a whm.

Any ideas for a DD brd build? I need something to spice up my upcoming merit parties. And if lucky I'll get a flame on here too! :bb:

Whatever you do, just remember that the damage your doing (from sword, h2h, w/e) is far more beneficial to your party than mere buffs. Make sure to wait on those until you're in between mobs. You don't want to damage your DoT.

Very good point. Maybe I should just sing buffs for myself while I'm out pulling. Other party members don't need songs.

I'm thinking sub nin and duel wield daggers. The dmg would be off the charts.

That would be because charts have a bottom end that you can be off of. XD
 
no you have to go brd/drg and use h2h

then use songs as your pulling so you dont die and only heel your selfz

This is good thinking. However, I think you should try brd/nin with H2H. I mean with that sub you can duel wield hands! You're definitely right about only giving yourself buffs though. Let the rest of the party take care of themselves. If they weren't thinking ahead enough to at least sub bard for themselves, that's not your problem.

Pfft let the whm pull. What else are they good for? They should of course sub war for voke pulling. It's cheaper than wasting ammo.

I would make for a good healer as drk/whm because I have aspir and I can replenish my mp for less downtime.

Ah, my bad. Shouldn't have skimmed over details. When I read 'desert' and not having a crystal in conjunction with this person's demonstrated level of skill, I mistakenly assumed the destination was Valkurm and the crystal in question was either from Holla or Dem.

you onry need 1 handz to kill da mob
 
Eh works for me. Charm should be useful on those IT mobs if we happen to get an aggro link.
