Anyone play this? I play on a private server, that i run, for me and a couple of friends. Kind of fun, just wondering if anyone else here plays or would be intrested in playing. Riding wyverns is bomb as hell lol. Kind of fun to mess around on when you have an entire server to yourself, and GM :D

I played at launch for a while. I started on Devianne server and eventually moved to Bartz since it seemed to be the most populated. In the end it was a lot of grinding with few things to distract you from the grind. Also the "Adena" farmers ran all my r/l friends off and that led to my eventual exit as well. I did get to use some pinyin.

I do like NCSoft for releasing all the Chronicals for free.

Yeah it's free. The client dl is at www.lineage2.com like i said and to connect to the server you have to edit your host files so it finds mine. Its not up right now though but if people want to play i can start er up.
 
I might not have time to play this weekend, but i'd definitely give it a go if you could give instructions on how to get in after I download the client :)
 
You run alternate rules? Exp bonus, adena bonus, etc?

I don't know, don't think so unless i changed it in the server settings. Like I said I've only played with like 2 other people and i gave them GM so we pretty much just lvled ourselves to 80, got some pimped gear and explored all over. If more people play and we can party and stuff i might lvl from 0 otherwise there not really any point.
 
I played before on a private server, got to level 50 before the area I had to go to was full of PKers with names like Ihatenoobs. Couldn't do anything, so I left.
 
I might be interested in this every now and then when I'm bored ;x

But you gotta show my how to get started!
 
i cant dl the client because i gotta be a fileplanet member and it cost money T_T

You don't have to pay to have an account there, i don't. And i found someother place to dl it but it was like 20kb a sec and was gonna take like 30 hours or something crazy. Best bet is fileplanet. Also make sure you download C5.
