Linkshell forums...

Is there some kind of server-side problem with these? I know that Aly and Flymop have tried to get my request processed in the past and they have been very helpful, but there's always some kind of technical difficulty.

I first requested a CoP static forum on the 9th of September. That's well over a month ago and pre-dates the creation of the "Linkshell Forum Requests" forum. I also noted that that all the requests posted in said forum have not been processed (ie. they do not appear on the group membership list, with the exception of BigKahuna).

My question is, Is the site in need of maintenance or a booster shot or some kind of overhaul (not the most computer literate person, forgive me). Because if this site were a Starbucks employee, I would've slapped it by now for poor service.

Heres the deal guys....

We have 53 linkshell forums and 53 linkshell usergroups. When I add a forum, I need to add a usergroup. Pretty simple so far but I need to and edit a whole lot of forums and usergroups to make it work the way its supposed to.

Needless to say, it shouldnt take an hour to set up a forum so Ive been looking into how this can be done programatically or otherwise.

I was thinking that if each forum had its own password, the LS owners can give it out as they needed. That should ensure some privacy but it means having to see 53 other forums on the forums list.

edit: I am sorry about the wait guys... if you dont care about others seeing the forum, i can try this approach out now with you guys and we'll see how it works. I'll do it now in fact.
