Ok, last night my Dynamis linkshell and a friends shell decided to try something. Something so retarded, it was hilarious. It was a giant chess game in Port Bastok.
Warriors = Pawns
Monks = Rooks
Paladin = Knights
Bishop = Black Mage
Queen = White Mage
King = Red Mage
It was absolutely hilarious. We all got properly lined up, and the game started well.
Well, after about 12 turns, it started to get confusing. Since we had no squares to go by, people were moving in funny directions. The knights had it the worst because of their L movement.
My team was in Vagabond tunics (Yellow) and the other was in Fishermans tunics.(Blue). The kings were wearing Opo crowns. The knights had single swords, the pawns had GA, the queen had a staff and the bishops used wands. Rooks obviously used fists.
Whenever you take a piece, a designated BLM for the losing piece would D2 them off the board.
It was alot of fun but we never got a chance to finish. Their shell had to get ready for dynamis and unless they wanted to go in all Fishing gear.....yeeea....
Anyways, if you have an organized (and large) LS, and know someone else who does too, give this a try. Its a great way to break the boredom.
