I'm not, nor was I ever, saying that Deja (or you, or Busta, or any other person) is not entitled to your opinions. However, when every day a new repost of a politically-driven blog thrashing gets shoved up on QCDN's Lounge or RSI board by Dejavu, it tends to get old after a while.

The way Deja's been going on about Barack Obama and his short time as president thus far, you'd think he had hoped Obama was some kind of Messianic figure who could right all the wrongs of the world in a day, rather than expecting him to be a man doing the best with the shitstorm left over from the last administration.

His original post points out it's not his list and provides a link to the original blog. The author's entire reason to exist seems to be making sure the entire world knows Obama is a monster. If Obama ran into a burning building and emerged with a dozen kittens in his arms, this guy would say Obama probably ate a few on the way out.

Clinton was lucky to be in charge during the dotcom bubble which burst.
It wasn't about the affair. It was the fact that he was on trial and lied under oath. The lie was enough to get him disbarred. I would say that is a pretty strong case to be pissed off at him.

I'd say making his affair public, nevermind holding a public trial over such incident, is a pretty shameless move in the first place.

So long as you aren't macking a minor, it's nobodies business who you fuck outside of those involved.

He wasn't on trial for the affair he was on trial for making a crude sexual advance on Paula Jones. He attempted to obstruct justice and committed perjury in said case which led to him being disbarred. The affair was not brought up until after he was on trial with Paula Jones.
 
LOL, seriously, you believe that? No. People cared that he had an affair and still constantly talk about it, not about the fact that he lied. Regardless, OMG A HUMAN BEING LIED! Hypocrisy is amazing around here. He lied about cheating, yea. What presidential matters have pretty much EVERY other president lied about? He lied about something that happened in his personal life, who the fuck cares? He did his job, that's what is important, not whether or not some slut intern sucked him off.
 
Well, the official stance was that "he lied under oath", not that he lied at all.

I am a post-Clinton-era Clinton fan (too little, too late kinda guy), so while I think the cheating-on-his-wife deal was wrong, I also feel that it wasn't any of our damn business.

To be honest about *that* matter, Bill Clinton's had a pretty damn good life after the White House, right? Still gets Secret Service protection, his daughter grew up from dog to rrrowrrr, his wife's been a Senator and now Secretary of State, he's had successful books and tours for public speaking...the list goes on.

What's Kenneth Starr doing these days again?
 
Actually Mire people don't talk about Clinton anymore until someone such as yourself bring him into the conversation. We would let it go but somehow someone always has to bring up Clinton. We aren't talking about his lying under oath anymore.

The fact that he wouldn't tell the truth under oath about having an affair after he was caught kind of speaks volumes about him. I mean if he is willing to hold onto that so hard what else did he not tell us about.

Actually, many Americans do still talk about it often. Just because you don't doesn't mean others don't. Just last week I got into an "arguement" with a friend who says he was one of the worst persidents and "if you can't keep your wife happy, how can you keep America happy" which is utter BS.

Yea, he has had it good after the White House because did nothing to be embarassed about during his presidency, (unlike numerous other ex-Presidents). He still does a hell of a lot of public speaking.

I don't know Mire I would say being disbarred is something to be embarrassed about. Selling secrets to the Chinese definitely something to be embarrassed about.

So because just last week you got into an argument I am supposed to believe that Americans are just always blabbing on about Clinton.

If I had to wake up next to that I would probably hide the fact that I was married not the fact that well even the pig Monica was better looking then her so he was still cheating up.
