I am xpin and all of a sudden...the mobs and my party members are invisible. idk what is going on. I reset did nothing.
 
All Monster disappear or only the monster you claimed?

What monster? What area? Does it Reappear when you move your camera angel? or inv but still in target?

Must be ingame glitches then i know in Garlaige Citadel if you fight on the pit (where you fall down to chamber beetle, you can still attack it when monster is down there, and you up there.)


No worry, call GM if pt wipe or something, and if you able to still kill it, kill it, is glitch, no biggy :p

yeah, there's a lot of glitches in this game. Like the time I got stuck under the dock in kazham, or under the docks and in that wide water area in Windurst Waters, or the time when I was stuck right inside my chocobo bedding in the MH, although that time I was able to log and log back in to get out, and the time in windy waters I was able to get a D2 out.

Anyways, as with your problem, as long as you're not stuck in a particular spot and can get out at anytime, and nothing is invisible if it's not suppose to be, then it should be alright. Otherwise, you can always get a GM to possibly help you out.
 
this happened to me one time at Mount Zhaylom. I restarted ffxi, and it worked fine for me, though.
 
It happens to me in XP parties in Bhaflau. Every N/PC goes underground, I only see their name. Reset always worked tho
 
been having problem with this aswell since I started playing on pc couple weeks back.
 
I had a party member who turned "invisible" to everyone near us. It was pretty funny. He died and fell underground, and when raised was invisible.

that happened to some of my PT members after the brd gave us songs
 
I get this sometimes when my virtual memory is running low.
 
o.o I dread the thought of FFXI tapping into virtual memory.
 
happend to us in dynamis-jeuno. everyone wiped and only about 5 of us were visible and couldn't raise anyone. wierd thing was that if you stood at a certain spot and at a certain angle you could see a few people next to you.

Well this explains some erratic things I've seen lately. Friend of mine randomly disappeared off the screen yesterday, couldn't target him & couldn't see him but he still showed up in the zone by search. Happened two or three times while I was standing there over a period of about 30 minutes.

I thought he was pos-hacking.
