Loan Help

Anyone know a place that will give out a loan to a college student with not-so-great credit? It would only be for ~$2500-3000. My parents have covered what was needed so far, but I really need to play them back.

Most of your common banks like Wells Fargo, BoA, etc have it. I took my student loans from Wells Fargo through Stafford when I went to college. Check out http://www.staffordloan.com/. There's a lot of info there.

That's what I'm afraid of. And no, I didn't think lendingtree did student loans.

If you loan it from your parent can't they wait til you have earn those money back from job or something? i don't think is worth loaning from a bank with those super-uber-megahigh interest rate to pay your parents back.

click on Signature Loan for undergrads. The credit requirements for SallieMae tend to be a little more liberal than some of the other major student loan lenders. Minimum loan amout is $500 and can be used to pay school balances up to 12 months old.

The one nice thing about student loans is that you can continuously defer them if you take at least one class I believe. My friend that just finished up Aeronautical school came out with about 150k in debt from flight training and overall course fees. He has taken a class at a community college to buy him some time in terms of paying off the student loans. I am not sure how this applies to other parts of the country though.
