Well Heres the topic.

Logging Macro

I recently joined the carpentry guild, so I needed logs.

I went to gheslba Outpost but everytime a logging point pop up some expert would come up and beet me to it, everytime.

Is there a logging macro for the ps2, which I use to help even out the score.

Cheers,
Ty Welcome

Any ideas would be great.

BTW, even with a macro, you're still going to have people in Ghelsba horning in on points that you've "claimed" first. It's only a matter of courtesy that people don't hit a mining/logging/harvesting point someone else is working on, and well, I'm sure you know just how courteous your average player can be. -_-

If you're a high enough level, you may want to consider logging in Buburimu or Jugner. The points are more scattered than Ghelsba, but there's almost never anyone there to compete with you. Otherwise, try to get to Ghelsba at an off hour, when all the kiddies aren't home from grade school yet. ;)

Macros help, but logging at off hours helps MUCH more.

I'm at the point where I really need to by synthing Holly -- the trouble is Holly is a somewhat infrequent drop, and I need a lot. Though it's not particularly valuable, buying the logs (instead of chopping them myself) costs more than the 12-stack is worth after converting to lumber. This makes places like Ghelsba doubly frustrating. So far I've only been able to log at off-hours. During normal evening peak hours is just nuts.

A related question is: Is there a macro command to force the inventory to sort itself?

I've been using the logging macro: /item Hatchet "Logging Point"
for quite a while -- but it always unstacks another hatchet off the 12-stack each time it's used. I'd like to restack the hatchets and just add that to the end of the macro.

Regards
Tim

Chinese gil sellers

Yes, sadly the chinese gil sellers have invaded our server as well. They are at ghelsba. The new trend is to steal logging spots, so don't even think about courtesy today.
